I didn’t believe in love. I never had. As far as I was concerned love was as fake as the silicone implanted in my sister’s boobs. It was just a fairy tale, something made up by Disney to make people believe that they wouldn’t be alone for the rest of their life. Life wasn’t like those fairy tales though. It was hard, painful and full of mistakes.
Maybe one day I would look back on my life and think that what happened that summer was a mistake. But for now the memories were the only thing keeping me alive.
