Chapter One: Careful!

Logan was a very antisocial person.
Since he was a kid he was excluded from group activities for 'being a nerd'. Later the excluding became bullying, and the bullying made Logan's parents move him from school.
Logan never seemed to mind. Accepting he would never be accepted by others he threw himself onto the studies at a young age. He took a particular interest in Math and Science, and later it would be Computing.
Logan came out as a homosexual to his parents after he graduated college. His parents, even though didn't understand, accepted his son because this meant he would be more open with them.
That was until they died. A drunk man ran over them both while they were crossing the street. Logan didn't cry at the funeral, but once he was alone he let all the tears fall and fall until there weren't any left.
Logan was numb. He was miserable. He had a great job, but he couldn't find happiness. He shut himself out from everyone. Who would even love someone like Logan?

Well, Roman Thaddeus seemed to be that someone.

No one really knew how, but they met. And began to go out together, and something seemed to grow. It was... quite peaceful, even. Logan didn't feel numb anymore.

It was a Friday. Logan was walking Roman home when the moment they began to cross the street a crazy car didn't stop.

And hit Roman.

Logan yelled as people called the ambulance, tears streaming down his face.

No, he couldn't be dead.

"Take my life... but please don't take his..." Logan whispered, hiccuping in his own tears.

Suddenly, the world became white.

We found another one. A new soul.
