During a 2-month 18-day time skip, our main character enjoyed his time with the girls amidst numerous hollow attacks. One particularly notable incident involved Shrieker attacking a little bird, prompting Rukia, Ichigo, and Chad to intervene, ultimately saving the child inside the bird and sending them to the Soul Society. Another event unfolded when Rukia sought soul candy from Kisuke's Shop, unknowingly acquiring a mod soul instead. This mod soul possessed Ichigo's human body, wreaking havoc until Ichigo, in his soul form, intervened. After a series of events, including Kisuke's capture of the mod soul and Rukia's intervention to spare its destruction, Ichigo named the mod soul Kon and housed it in a stuffed lion.

On June 16, Ichigo exhibited unusual behavior, even requesting a day off from his duties as a substitute soul reaper. Tatsuki and Orihime noticed his demeanor and realized its correlation with the anniversary of his mother's death. The next day, Ichigo's family visited his mother's grave, where a comedic yet heartfelt moment unfolded, showcasing the dynamics between Ichigo, his sisters, and his father.

Amidst the family visit, Rukia unexpectedly appeared, causing a flustered Ichigo to feign ignorance of their acquaintance. However, their ensuing conversation hinted at deeper connections, particularly regarding Ichigo's past and his mother's death. As tensions rose, Ichigo abruptly fled upon sensing an ominous presence, ultimately confronting Grand Fisher, who threatened his sister Yuzu.

As the confrontation unfolded, shocking revelations surfaced, including Ichigo's confession of being his mother's killer and the mysterious girl's involvement with Grand Fisher. The encounter left Ichigo and Rukia grappling with unsettling truths, setting the stage for future challenges and revelations.

Rukia finds herself running through the forest with Ichigo's body on her back, accompanied by Kon's complaints about his weight. Along the way, she stumbles upon Karin and Yuzu lying unconscious against a rock, prompting her concern. However, her attention is quickly diverted by Kon's observation of a stunned Ichigo and a mysterious girl nearby.

The girl's appearance undergoes a grotesque transformation, revealing a sphere with a hole underneath, which attaches to Grand Fisher's head. Grand Fisher, recognizing Ichigo as a target due to having seen him twice, prepares to devour him. Rukia identifies Grand Fisher and explains his modus operandi of using a lure disguised as a person to select his victims.

Ichigo confronts Grand Fisher in a fit of rage, vowing to avenge his mother's death. However, Grand Fisher proves to be a formidable opponent, outmaneuvering Ichigo with his speed and cunning. Despite sustaining injuries, Ichigo's resolve remains unshaken as he continues to fight.

Grand Fisher taunts Ichigo with a recreation of his mother's likeness, further enraging him. The battle intensifies as Ichigo refuses to back down, determined to overcome his adversary. Despite the odds stacked against him, Ichigo manages to wound Grand Fisher, albeit at great cost to himself.

As the confrontation reaches its climax, Grand Fisher retreats by transferring himself to his lure, taking on the appearance of Masaki to taunt Ichigo further. Rukia arrives just in time to witness the aftermath of the battle and tends to Ichigo's injuries, expressing gratitude for his resilience.

During the period from June 18th to July 17th, several significant events occurred:

On July 15th, Ichigo's friends gathered outside an abandoned hospital in Karakura Town, where Don Kanonji was filming an episode of his TV show, "Casual Soul Realm Assault Trip." Despite Ichigo's reluctance, he attended the event with his family.
Orihime apologized to Ichigo for trying to involve him in imitating Don Kanonji's pose and laugh, unaware of his dislike for the show. Ichigo explained that he accompanied his family, who are fans of the show, and reassured Orihime.
Rukia revealed her lack of knowledge about the event's purpose but encouraged Ichigo to enjoy himself and take a break from his responsibilities.
Rukia explained the concept of Jibakurei to Ichigo, describing them as souls attached to places due to unresolved regrets or attachments.
A Jibakurei, bound by chains to the hospital, manifested and declared his intention to prevent anyone from taking the hospital, revealing his selfish motivations.
Don Kanonji arrived, attempting to purify the Jibakurei using his Super Spirits Stick, despite warnings from Rukia and Ichigo.
Ichigo attempted to stop Don Kanonji, fearing the consequences of aggravating the Jibakurei's condition, but was restrained by security guards.
These events highlighted Ichigo's concern for the well-being of spirits and his willingness to intervene, even at personal risk. Additionally, they showcased the dynamics between Ichigo, his friends, and the supernatural occurrences in Karakura Town.

Rukia attempted to push Ichigo out of his body using her Gokon Tekkō, but both she and Ichigo were quickly tackled by security guards.
The Jibakurei's Chain of Fate began breaking in several places, signaling its imminent transformation into a Hollow.
Kisuke Urahara intervened, forcibly ejecting Ichigo's soul from his body with his cane, allowing Ichigo to witness the unfolding events from a different perspective.
Ichigo confronted Don Kanonji, trying to stop him from exacerbating the situation with his purification attempt.
Despite Ichigo's efforts, the Jibakurei transformed into a Demi-Hollow, leading to a chaotic battle scene.
Ichigo and Don Kanonji engaged in a tense exchange about their respective roles and responsibilities in facing supernatural threats.
Don Kanonji, inspired by Ichigo's courage and determination, decided to confront the Demi-Hollow despite the risks.
In a dramatic showdown, Ichigo and Don Kanonji battled the Demi-Hollow, with Ichigo ultimately delivering the decisive blow that defeated the creature.
