"Hey princess, remember that school you always wanted to attend?" Dad said. It got me thinking deep you know. "Yes dad? What about it?" I asked "well drum roll please ....". Dad made that funny trumpet sound. "You have the opportunity to attend just write the exam" Dad said smiling making me perplexed. I'm entering final year of high school and he's bringing up change of school? That's just crazy!
"Dad what do you mean" I asked tapping my foot on the wooden floor covering with my hands on my waist, he has got to be kidding.
"Dear its a good thing and hey! They accept final years Dear the exam is next tomorrow and its easy " mum said chuckling
"We good?" Dad asked not waiting for my reply he immediately stood up from the sofa and patted my back. "That's my princess, get ready alright" he said leaving the house for his evening jog
Mum did same giving me a peck, left for the kitchen
And I returned to my room with a frown on my face. I mean are my parents serious?
