Mary reached the office that morning a bit disheveled. Her head was pounding- she had almost run across the street, as she didn't want to punch in a few minutes late.
She walked up the stairs to her cubicle, and noticed the hottie receptionist Clara had worn a strange shade of pink lipstick that didn't seem to suit her at all.
She also wore a pair of blue high heels that didn't match her brown jeans and lemon yellow blouse. She wondered where Clara got her fashion sense from.
Yet Clara seemed to be the object of desire- atleast it seemed that way, since there was not a single male employee in the tiny office who didn't have her number saved in his phone.
Mary reached her desk. She sat down and decided to tidy up a bit, something she did every morning. She dusted the keyboard, and put stray things away. Finally she took a sip of coffee. Suddenly her eyes fell on a grey envelope that seemed to have Jamie's handwriting on it.
Abandoning the coffee for a little while, she reached for the grey envelope across her desk and opened it. It seemed to have a small pink note inside it.
As her eyes skimmed the little pink note paper, she couldn't believe her eyes.
No it couldn't be true.
Jamie had asked her to meet him near the coffee machine for a chat and that there was something he wanted to ask her.
Mary suddenly remembered what she read in her horoscope!
