backstory

Vivian Ivery is a girl born and raised in the town of riverdale. she was born on the northside, but right next to the first house of the southside. her father was born a serpent, meaning her and her brother are serpents by blood. her father was a hardcore serpent, and had always put their gang first. when she was 7 her father left their household, dragging her brother, jake, along with him so for a while it was just viv and her mother. after five years of them getting used to their own company, vivian's mother had suddenly passed due to unknown reasons. she was broken since her mother was the only person who took care of her. she had no choice but to tell her father since it was either that or the sherif, and she was not about to go and live in an orphanage. once her father had heard, like her brother, vivian was forced to live in the southside. when she got there, she was expecting a small trailer at the most, but she was greeted with a house that looked exactly like they had taken it from the northside. turns out her father moved away not to be cruel, but because the serpents had offered him a home if he took on the job they had in store for him.she grew up happily in their new home for the next 4 years. although her brother went to a different school from her, they were close as anything. by the time he was 14, jake decided to join the serpents, and begged his sister to join. she immediately refused; she was like a princess at riverdale high, and she wasn't ready to give that status up. while at riverdale high, she had been best friends with cheryl blossom. together they were unstoppable. the two HBIC's of riverdale high. besides that, she was also best friends with jughead jones and reggie mantle, the only boys who she could hang out with and not have to feel like she's flirting. she had known jughead from the start, since their dads were close, and she had instantly bonded with reggie when they first met in kindergarden. apart from that, everyone in her school was pretty preppy and stuck up. betty cooper was okay, she was pretty nice. apart from that, vivian's life was somewhat normal. somewhat. 

okay so thats pretty much it about vivian ivery's life. this book will be set in season 1 of riverdale, and instead of reggie being played by that other guy, im gonna be portraying him as charles melton because he's been in riverdale longer lmao.
