Chapter 4 - Always Do

Previously on Lost...

"You know this story, a plane full of people crashed on an island. They were lost." Adam is talking to David at school

"Can we talk, David?"

"About what?"

"You're a music genius, can we talk about music?"

Then to the day in the park where they saw Jack

"Dad?" David says as Nick, Tony, and Adam look on and now in David's house

"We saw what we saw and afterward we didn't do anything. We didn't even tell Abby."

"How would we explain why we were together at 6:00 a.m." Then David kisses Adam

"I can't very well have the wife of Hiram Myers on trial for fraud and embezzlement, balancing my books."

Maria opens the bag and sees tons of cash money

"Oh, Hiram..."

"Oh, my God, it's Abby's dad. He's alive."

"What were you doing in the park?"

"I was at the park that morning with Tony and Nick."

"What were you doing in the park?"

"Staging an intervention for you."

At the Arcade Dilton tells Abby about the park

"I saw a group of boys in the park. Something nobody else saw. David, Adam, Tony, and You, Nick sitting at the park."

On the Island, Ben reads the prophecy

"They must fight them to the death and win. The dead's offspring must fight them and win. And then they will come back alive."

"It's been a week since my "dead" dad seemingly alive body walked into town. It's also been 2 days since I found out how I would be able to get my dad back but would I actually be able to do it. But that would not be the first of weird things in this town, nor would it be the last that the town of North Hollywood would suffer. The Electric Dusk Drive-In where Nick works, his home away from home, a piece of town history, is closing for good, just when we needed a place to escape to the most. With Sheriff Smith knocking on every door and neighbor suspecting neighbor, on the Mysterious reappearance of Dr. Jack Shepherd. North Hollywood, every day that passes, is becoming more like Salem during the witch trials. And meanwhile, the girl next door, the friendly neighborhood Hitchcock brunette, me, Abby Shepherd, was wrestling with the knowledge that my best friend, Adam Anderson, and my own Brother David Shepherd had lied to me." Abby wrote in her diary

"Dear Diary, Sheriff Smith doesn't know what I know, that my own brother North Hollywood High's substitute music teacher, David Shepherd, was at the park the morning that Nick, Tony, and Adam were staging an intervention for me and they saw, my dad. And David didn't tell me. Adam left him out of it." Abby walks down the stairs and David is playing the piano and Lapidus walks up to her and says

"He's incredible."

"Yea, He's one of the best," Abby said as she can't stop thinking about why her own brother would lie to her as He stops playing and everybody claps as Lapidus says as he gets up to shake his hand

"I'm usually more of a classic rock kind of guy, but that was beautiful. Truly."

"Congratulations, David."

"Thank you all for coming to help Abby. After everything, you've done for Abby. Here and on the island." Nick is talking to Abby, Tony, and Helen in a booth a Cassells
