Oi, for the few of you that read this, sorry I have not posted in so long. A friend and I have been working on a video and it took me like 30+ hours of work to complete (it's not done yet). Anyway, all the brainstorming, editing, filming and acting that I have had to do lately has been killing me and I just didn't want to be on my computer any more than I already was.
My plan is to try and phase from Tommy's perspective completely to the younger Jason's. I assume it won't be perfect so sorry about that.
With all that said, let's jump back in!
Tommy's POV
I opened my eyes, morning sunlight streamed in from an eastern window of the room in which I stood. My gut was still swirling from my high-speed plunge. My vision was becoming sharper, but still pretty fuzzy. I looked around. The place looked like it was from the 1970s, there was a woven rope carpet on the floor and a desk that stood in the corner of the western wall. I walked over and looked at the book laying open on it.
Greek Myths was the chapter title. After reading the page, which was about one of the twelve Olympians, Artemis, I reached down to turn the page, but my hand went through the book. I tried again, to no avail, of course. A kind voice spoke behind me, "It's not gonna budge." I whipped around, there, at the door, stood Mr. Kadwick. "It's possible to stand on the floor only for convenience, everything else Is just an illusion." He chuckled to himself, "Actually, for all I am concerned, we are still sitting in our chairs back at the candy shop."
"See, this is merely a memory brought to life." To demonstrate this, he shoved his hand through the door. "Woah," I said feeling excited at the prospect. I turned around, about to run toward the opposite wall, when I noticed him, a little boy, who appeared to be around ten years old, asleep on a bed in the far corner, behind me and opposit Mr. Kadwick.
"Well then, this seems as good as a place as any to start." He started fading. "Wait, what? don't leave, what are we even doing in this place?" I asked, panic ebbing into my mind and voice. He resolidified. "Not to worry," he said, with yet another smile. "Why did this guy smile so much?" I wondered. "I will still be here, you just won't be able to see me." He started fading again. "See you soon." Winking, he fully vanished from view.
"Jason!" Yelled a lady from somewhere downstairs. The boy in the bed stirred...
