An Ordinary Love Story

THE SECOND DAY (Part:2)

The time passed with all the classes and stuff and finally Rachel and I got time to go to the canteen and eat. "Ugh! I am so hungry!!" She frowned while we were walking to the canteen. We got our food and looked for a table around when I saw a familiar face sitting and laughing at a table. I understand it was Carter and we both went up to his table. And as usual we found him sitting and chatting with Tim. I tapped his shoulder "hey....can we sit.... with u guys?" I asked. He smiles at me and they agreed. He says "oh...um yeah yeah sure please sit!" I smiled at him and sat beside him. Rachel looked at Tim and smiled as she sat beside him. While we four ate, we talked about things. But most of the time Carter and I stared at each other. Suddenly Tim came up with a question "who are you girls going with?" I was confused and looked at Rachel, she answered "hmm...i don't know duh!" I was confused even more. Then Rachel told me about the prom which was supposed to be next week. "Oh...prom...I don't know yet..." I blushed a bit and looked at Carter. I didn't know about the prom cause I had a late admission in the school and it was my second day. "What about you guys?" I asked them with a soft smile. Tim asks Rachel "hmm will you go with me Rachel?" Rachel blushed and chuckles "yes!! I'll go!!" I clapped for them and chuckled. "What about you Carter?" Rachel asks while chuckling. He blushed and said "oh...um I don't know either... I'll see..." And he looks at me, I look back and smile.
We ate our food and left for the other classes. Finally the day came to an end and it was tiring except the time I was with Carter....he makes me feel better... special...I was so in love with him....I didn't know if he felt the same way...

With this thought.....many days past.... almost a week passed....we continued to meet and know each other more and become more frank....but he still didn't ask me for the prom...I smiled and said to myself "he will!".
