A week previous...
Valentine smiled at his daughter as the portal closed. "Clarissa, so good to see you again."
Clary stared in horror at her father, clutching the Book of White in her hands.
"Where's your brother?"
"You think I'd tell you?" Clary growled
He walked closer to his daughter. "You won't have too."
Simon jumped in front of Clary, nearly attacking Valentine. "Stay away from her!"
Valentine easily pushed away Simon and Isabelle ran in.
"Simon!"
Valentine was about to strike at Simon with his blade, but Izzy wrapped her whip around Valentine's wrist. He pulled at the whip and Isabelle fell to the ground, and was about to strike Simon once more, but Jace ran into the room, seraph blade pointed at Valentine.
"Stop! This time you're not getting away."
His men pick up Simon and Izzy from the ground and hold them captive.
"Finally ready to kill your own father?"
"You abandoned me." Jace growled.
"I was protecting you. You weren't ready then, but you've grown. You've become the warrior I've trained you to be."
"You trained me well."
Valentine sighed. "And yet, I still have so much to teach you. I brought you here for a reason. Look, fight me, and watch your friends die."
Two more men come in, holding Alec and Magnus captive.
"See, you are strong. But they make you weak." He drawled.
"Let us go," Clary pleaded. "You can have the book. We won't be able to stop you without it."
Her father turned around to face her. "Ah, Clarissa. So like your mother. Willing to do anything for those that you love. I'm touched, but... the book was never part of my plan. I want you to wake up your mother. I know that you'll both join me eventually." Clary looked at him in disgust. "It's fated."
He then turned around to face Jace. "You ready?"
Jace sighed, looked at his friends, then lowered his blade. "If I go with you, promise me you wont' hurt them."
"You have my word." Valentine replied.
"This is insane!" Clary yelled.
"I'm sorry, Clary." Jace said, the look in his eyes showing that he truly was.
She was close to tears. "Jace, whar are you doing? You can't be serious! Valentine is wrong. You're not like him. I'm not. You're not!"
"You don't know that, Clary. You don't know that."
Valentine spoke to his men. "Let them go."
Alec, Izzy, Magnus and Simon were released, Simon immedietly going to Clary.
"Simon." She whispered.
Isabelle stepped toward Jace but he pointed his blade at her. "Get back. Get back." Valentine opened a portal and Alec was ready to take a step toward his parabati, but Jace growled at him. "Alec, I mean it."
Valentine's men went through the portal, then Valentine himself took Jace by the arm, the two going through the portal.
"Jace." Clary whimpered, then handed the book to Simon, running toward the portal, but Alec's arms go around her waist to stop her as Jace and Valentine disappear.
"What are you doing?" She demanded, struggiling to get free.
He didn't let her go, arms tightening around her waist. "Saving your life. If you enter a Portal not knowing where you're going, you'll be stuck in limbo forever."
The portal closed and Clary knewJace was truly gone unless they got him back. Greviving, Clary collapsed in Alec's arms, legs unable to hold her up anymore, and she sobbed, gripping his arms for support.
No one said anything.
Alec just held her and let her cry.

Please let me know what you think!
If any of you hardcore Shadowhunters fans noticed, this is the original script, and I'll be using it throughout the story to make sure scenes are correct.
May be doing a collab with someone on this, though she hasn't agreed yet. Anyway!
Like I said, comment what you think and vote!
