Chapter 2

I pull up into Lynn's driveway, and park my car. I grabbed my bag and my phone and walked up to the front door and knocked. The door opened and Lynn greeted me in a huge hug. I think she's really pretty her long brown ombré hair, and her eyes are green with a little bit of brown, and her tan skin, I think she's beautiful. She's about my height which is 5"6.

"Heyy hazel, it's so nice to see you!" She said with a cheery smile.

"Hey Lynn it's nice to see you too!" I said back with excitement.

"Here come in." I followed inside behind her, her house is huge compared to mine. She brought me up to her room and I put my bag on the floor.

"So hows jack, do you still like him?" She asked with a smirk while nudging me.

"Well ya but he's dating Sarah, and she's so mean to me, but he's so oblivious to it, because he's so In love with her! I think I should just give up on him and maybe go after someone else."

"Well a little birdie told me that Chris has a little crush on hazel." My mouth dropped open when she told me this. Chris is the jock of the school and he's only ever had 3 girlfriends all 4 years of high school and he likes me!! Out of all people. He's so cute too, he has short brown hair and bright green eyes and he's really tall.

"Your lying, there's no way he likes me!"

" He told me he did."

"When!"

"Yesterday, during history!"

"Oh my god, so that's why he was whispering in your ear?"

"Mhmm, and I gave him your number."

"What! But he hasn't texted me yet!"

"Well he said he'll text you on Sunday, because him and his family were going camping this weekend."

"Oh my fucking god! I'm so happy right now!! Anyway so how are you and Jacob?" I asked nudging her

"Wellllll were doing good, tomorrow night he's taking me out on a date." She said with a smile. Her and Jacob are so cute together.

"Ooh yay you guys are so cute!!"

"Heh thank you!"

"Your welcome! Let's get tons of junk food, and build a fort and watch tons of movies talk about boys and just have tons of fun haha."

"Yass okay let's go to the store right now." I nodded

"Okay we'll take my car!" I said she nodded and she slipped her shoes on and I grabbed my phone and we walked out side to my car and drove to the store.

We pulled up and walked inside, when I saw Sarah and some other guy making out against the chips, I smirked and took out my phone and took a picture of them and send it to jack.

You could clearly see it was Sarah, me and Lynn looked at each other and stifled a laugh and we turned around and went to a different aisle..my felt my phone buzz in my pocket and a looked at it and it was from jack it said,

From Bestfriend💗: please tell me this isn't some kind of sick joke..

To Best friend💗; why would I lie to you?

From Best friend💗; I know..but it's okay I'll talk to her about it later..

I didn't I answer I just sighed and Lynn looked at me and asked,

"What's wrong?" I just showed her the messages and she shook her head and said,

"He's whipped, he's probably gonna forgive her right away, like he always does" she said while shaking her head in disbelief. I just nodded. After we got everything we needed we got back in my car and drove back to her house.

We changed into our pjs and built a fort and put a movie in and by the third movie we both passed out.

****next day****

I woke up to my phone ringing, I opened my eyes and saw that my mom was calling me, I answered

"Hello?" I said all groggily

"Hey hazel, you need to come home."

"Why??"

"Because I said so."

"Fine I'll be there soon." I hung up the phone and got my stuff together and Lynn was just waking up saying,

"Where you going?"

"My mom said I have to come home. So I'll talk to you later call me later and tell me how yours and Jacobs date go." I said with a wink she just nodded and fell back asleep.

I started walking outside when my phone went off and it was a text from an unknown number saying

Unknown: hey hazel, it's chris, idk if you mind but your friend Lynn gave me your number 😁

I smiled at the text and changed his contact name to chris😜

To chris😜: hey and it's fine she told me that she gave it to you.

He didn't answer right away so I drove home and once I got home I saw I had another text from him.

From chris😜: hah ya, well I wanted to know if next Saturday you wanted to go on a date with me I mean if your not busy or anything.

I giggled at his nervousness I could tell by the text he was nervous

To chris😜: I'm not busy lol I would love to go, but I g2g I'll see you tomorrow at school 💕

From chris😜: yay! Ok babe I'll see you tomorrow 💕

I smiled wide at his text and I walked out of my car and walked up to my house and walked inside to see my mom sitting at the kitchen counter.

"Next time if you go somewhere tell me!"

"Sorry I figured you'd knew where I went or Hayden would tell you. I mean he goes out all the time without telling you and he never gets in trouble!"

"No he always tells me, but why don't you go clean your room, and get changed and all that because were going to the Glinskys house for dinner tonight." I just nodded and ran up the stairs.
