Shadows (Naruto)

Hi! My name is lily fujioka and I am eleven years old. My family had kept me locked up for most of my life in a small dungeon like cell. I had made a hole in the wall of my cell and hid it with my bed so that I could go into the woods to train. I had this voice in my head that would tell me what to do and how to do it. By the time I was seven I was as deadly as the tailed beasts. I could kill a grown Junín ninja with one hand and not get a single scratch. One day I was taking a break from training and I heard a scream.

~flashback~

I look out the small window of my room and see someone running a sword through the stomach of one of my cousins. I gasp and jump out of my bed. I grab a storing scroll and start packing my stuff. I stuff my clothes in and then start putting my books and journals in it. Then I very carefully put my violin and flute and guitar in it. Then I grab another storing scroll and I put all my weapons except for my sword in it. I strap my sword sheath on my back and put my two scrolls in a little pouch along with my only toy, a small stuffed bear. I crawl out of my cell and hide my chakra from everyone and, hiding in the shadows, I make my way to the forest.

~flashback over ~

I near the sounds of people talking and I still. I quickly teleport to a tree branch nearby. I see two men talking. One is wearing a funny looking green jumpsuit and orange legwarmers. He is extremely loud and kept yelling something about youth. He was kind of scary. I pull out pookie, my stuffed bear, and hug him tightly, and then I study the other one. He is kind of scary, but in a different way than the other one. He has a mask covering most of his face and a leaf ninja headband covering one eye. He also has silver hair that is standing up. I wonder how he got it to stand up like that. I slowly let my chakra presence show but only a little. I don't want them to know how strong I am. The masked one turns in my direction and says, "I know you're out there, show yourself." I drop down to the ground, still hidden, and then slowly walk around the tree into the light of the meadow. Their eyes widen and the green wearing one runs toward me and tries to pick me up but I side-step and he runs into the tree behind me. The masked one then says, "Stop it gai, you scared her. What is your name little girl?" I look at gai then back to the masked one and he sighs. "Gai get away from her. My name is Kakashi Hatake, of the leaf village. That's gai. What is your name?" I hug pookie and say quietly, "my name is lily." "Nice to meet you lily, can you tell me where your family is?" I point in the direction of my families' compound and say, "that way, some bad ninjas came and killed them. I escaped." The masked one then says, "do you want to come with us to the leaf village, after you talk to the hokage, I'm sure we can get you a place to live." I nod and he starts walking. I run to catch up with him and I grab hold of his hand. He squeezes my hand in his and I skip alongside him then I stop and stand still. Kakashi looks down at me and then crouches in front of me. "What's wrong lily?" "What if the hokage says I can't stay here? What if he doesn't like me and tells me to leave?" "Don't worry lily, he's going to love you. Do you want to ride on my shoulders?" I nod happily and he picks me up and sits me on his shoulders. I giggle and point in the direction we were walking and say, "onward!" he then leaps up into the trees and leaps from branch to branch. I had put my sword in one of my scrolls, so I didn't have to worry about that and pookie is put in my pouch. Soon we near a huge gate and we drop to the ground. Kakashi puts me down and I grab his hand. I follow him through the gates and pass by the sleeping guards. We walk through the noisy streets and I can feel the stares of the villagers on me. I walk a little closer to kakashi and soon we reach the big building in the middle of the town and we walk in. we climb so many stairs, you would have thought your legs would have stopped working by now. Finally, we reach the top of the stairs and kakashi knocks on the door. I hear a gruff voice say, "Come in." and kakashi opens the door and walks in, me following close behind. I see an old man sitting behind a desk that has stacks of papers covering it. "Hello kakashi, who is this?" he asks, smiling at me kindly. "this is lily, she found me and gai in the middle of him trying to challenge me in a battle." The old man nods and looks at me kindly. "hello lily, I'm the hokage. Can you tell me who your family is?" I nod and say, "My family is the Fujioka family." The hokage's eyes widen and he says, "what happened to your parents?"
