chapter 1

your ginger hair blows to your side from a hard gust of wind your light green eyes search for the source of the cold wind while the freezing air presses against your palish skin witch feels like needles poking you you get out of bed and look out of your bedroom window and see a woman looking through your window singing you turn on your light and shes gone you turn it back off and look shes there again her skin has blue scales on it slightly glowing in the moonlight you see she runs off into the mountain not far from there is a dandrous ancient ruin filled with wild sharks and wolfs you try and yell to her its not safe but she keeps walking you throw on a black jacket some jeans and a t-shirt with some boots you run down stairs quiet enough not to wake your parents up you slowly open the door making little sound and run outside you head towards the ruin flooded by freezing water and see her walk into the water with a beautiful flowy white dress and see her look at you she dives in and a blue glowing tail splashes out the water and she dissapears

you run into the water thinking its a shark tail and grab a shark stick for defence you swim in the cold dark water and you see the woman with a blue glowing tail she looks stunned like your even more mythical than she is you look down and before you can see anything below your waist you wake up screaming again this is the 24'th time i had this dream in a month and it feels so real your mother and father are holding your hand as you stop screaming and they say are you okay winter thats your name you say yes and your mother says this has happened alot what dream are you having thats doing that

you tell them everything and your mother and father share a scared look you yell what and they say nothing go back to sleep you turn on your phone and it says the time is 6:55 you say to your parents its already six the suns about to rise and it will be my 18'th birthday i might as well get up its already sunrise   so i might as well jest get ready for the long day your parents smile and say ok winter and they walk out talking about what happened quietly you slip on some high heels a tight dress thats red and a jean jacket over it you put makup over your freckles and than look at it and say ugh you remove it you pput on gold earings and red lipstick with eyeliner you listen in your parents room and hear them talking about some sort of lost water prinsses and finding a baby drifting in the ocean than he your dad yells so what if we found winter in the artic ocean you gasp and your parents stop talking your mother says wait winter its not what you think you run out the door while your parents are running after you you run to the bach and stop at the ocean with rocks everywhere you turn to your parents a struggle to say you found me in the sea they say come on winter please its not what you think you walk back to them but you slip on a rock and fall into the cold ocean while pain grasps your body as you let out a high pitch not normal scream
