A few rays of bright sunshine pierced through the large window nearby (Y/N)'s desk. (Y/N) loved that feature, she practically had a front row seat to the deep indigo sea. Today the sun was oddly extremely bright! Casting the very few birds that flew by into nothing but black shadows against a sky of palest baby blue.
The many brown cardboard boxes on top of (Y/N) desk and surrounding her entire work space looked like they would collapse any moment under the pressure of the countless of files stuffed into them. Each file was slapped with a white label, organized in rows of the new men that had arrived hours ago by alphabetical order, by their last names only. It probably would be a shock to some to know that (Y/N) had managed to look through three full boxes already. It sounds like a lot, but if you think about it, there aren't many last names with A-J.
(Y/N)'s job currently was to type put all of the new men's information and it was a way of signing them in essentially. She's had to take two breaks so far because of her fingers cramping up.
There was more H, L and J surnames but it really didn't take that long. Now she was in the K range, 'Kang' specifically. She was so eager to get to the surname 'Kim' but dreaded it at the same time. She would be able to find that handsome soldier's name, but there were so many people with the same last name! All four walls of the room were covered with boxes, leaving only a small gap in the middle for the door. (Y/N)'s slumped figure sat still in the chair as the boxes and huge stack of files that she was done going through casted a heavy shadow on her.
She never looked up from the papers and her fast hands never stopped typing. A constant sound of plucking from the typewriter keys echoed through the room.
(Y/N) poured herself into every page of every file. She read and typed until she was almost cross-eyed and the words merged.
(Y/N)'s hand lift from the typewriter and settled her index and thumb between her (e/c) eyes before pinching the skin. "Ugh.." She grumbled.
She decided to take a short break, but dedicate that time into looking through the boxes of files with that handsome soldier's last name. It took a very long time, longer than she originally hoped for, but she was determined to find out the name that belonged to that unforgettable face.
She was so engrossed, absorbed, almost in a trance; then she finally found the gem she was searching for.

Y/N)'s (e/c) eyes shift over to the singular photo of the man that she had finally learned the name of. He looked just as handsome in the faint brown tinted photograph, but he looks even better in person. (Y/N) thought the photo she was looking at must've been taken when he first enlisted into the army, when he was eighteen. He should be..twenty one now! Close to twenty one in just a few months. (Y/N) thought Seokjin looked more physically mature in person than he did in this photo.
Looking at this photo also made (Y/N) realized that out of all the hundreds of files that she has had to go through so far, Kim Seokjin was the only one smiling in his photo.
(Y/N) leaned her back against the chair she was in before crossing her leg over the other and letting her foot bounce to whatever rhythm she wanted as she brought her face a little closer to the photo.
Her (e/c) eyes studied and traced over every single detail of the young man's flawless face. His slim and symmetrical jaw, his sparkling large almond shaped brown eyes, dark perfectly sculpted eyebrows, majority of his dark hair hiding beneath his side cap, his small nose with a high bridge, and best of all his plump lips that parted to flash his front row of white teeth. He possessed a faint dimple on his left cheek on the top corner of his mouth as well, (Y/N) noticed.
