(Y/N)'s soft fingertips pushed down on the cold metal, clunky keys of her typewriter rapidly with her (e/c) eyes shifting up and down to pay attention to the letters or numbers she was pressing and making sure the line on the paper she was working on had no mistakes. But she was the best typist there, and she knew that.

The sounds of the usually loud ticking from the pecan shaded chipped, wooden wall clock was completely drowned out and was never really heard again until (Y/N) stopped for a few seconds to adjust the paper so she could continue. She had just finished up typing up an incident report because someone had badly sprained their ankle, but now she was translating the document.

It was the tenth of October and roughly noon now, but at this time everyone was really starting to feel the change in weather and get into the fall feel. Today especially, it was fairly cloudy and a bit windy! Everyone took out their thicker coats to wear and most women and girls were wearing darker stockings and longer skirts made of wool.

But even though the autumn weather outside was brisk and kind of gloomy it did not affect (Y/N) very much, because just the sole thought that handsome soldier made her spirit feel like it was in a forever spring heaven and made her entire heart and body warm. Seokjin was the warmth of the sun and sweet scent of a flower field. Quietly reminiscing about how the grasp of his hand in hers felt too natural and the overall incredibly fun night she danced alongside Seokjin, (Y/N) failed to think of even one single thing that she would change about it..other than it never ending, but that unfortunately was not realistic. A slight toothy grin snuck upon her face that she quickly pushed against with her fist that held her head while she felt herself almost back on that night, feeling like she was wearing that same dress, pretty make up, and just being close to Seokjin's body.

He was such a good dancer, and in great spirits the entire night that (Y/N) didn't even feel tired at all once Seokjin returned her home from their last minute ice cream trip.

Thinking back on it, (Y/N) doesn't think that she has ever felt so free before especially with someone else. Seokjin was always so positive and encouraging, he seemed to make sure to compliment and express his attractions towards her adventurous and ambitious personality too while most other men would tell her to turn it down a couple notches or tell her to be more submissive like a woman was supposed to. (Y/N) thought that Seokjin must be open minded just from the experience of them dancing..oh how she twirled and shook. Jump, skip, twist and groove they did without any regards to the others around them staring; it felt like they were just the only one's there. It felt like they were the main characters to a film. An open minded characteristic was always a good thing in a person, (Y/N) thought. He also seemed to share the yearn to see more of the world which made (Y/N) the most excited, she'd give anything to travel around the entire world with him and him alone.

The drinking and the dancing was amazing, but (Y/N)'s favorite part of that magical night was toward the end of it even though she didn't want it to end. Towards the end of the night where she clung tightly to his arm as they walked down the streets of Tokyo, shared a few innocent kisses and projected their laughter out to the sparkling stars; it just felt more intimate.

If (Y/N) was outside of her office right now, she wouldn't be able to feel the cold wind slip through her clothes, or notice the fine mist, or the life that continues beyond the memory of that night and the warmth that the thought of Seokjin gave her.

She acknowledged that the way she felt about Seokjin could be a cliche fantasy story with the amount of deep love she felt for this young man, but (Y/N) didn't feel childish with her feelings at all. (Y/N) was just determined to wed Seokjin, there was absolutely no other man for her. It is there in their laughter, in the soft way they touched, it was in the gaze that lingers when they had to part their ways..Seokjin was (Y/N)'s first thought of the day, her every daydream and every fantasy of future years.
