19 - The Car Ride

Y/n's POV

      After getting some breakfast to eat, we headed on the road for our next destination. Elton said it would be a 3 hour ride which meant that we will arrive there around 1pm. That definitely gave us enough time to do what ever Elton had planned.

      The beginning of the ride was pretty quiet with occasional conversations that would start and end. We were mostly on our phones, well mostly the guys minus Elton who was listening to music. I was staring out the window while holding Colby's hand and thinking about what Lucas said. He basically said, if he couldn't have me then no one would. Exactly what he said in my nightmare. My eyes started to water at the thought of that nightmare coming true. I quickly used my free hand to wipe away any tears ready to roll down my face. I felt Colby squeeze my hand, making me look at him as I let a tear fall. He put his phone down and wiped away the tear that fell.

      "You okay?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders and rested my head on his shoulder.

       "It's just that what Lucas said is very similar to what he said in my nightmare. I'm scared of that nightmare coming true." I said as I let a few tears fall. This had caught everyone's attention. Elton turned down the music so he could hear us talk.

       "You never told us about your nightmare ya know." Corey said hoping that I would tell them about it.

       "Yeah, I guess I got side tracked." I said lifting my head from Colby's shoulder, wiping the tears away. I then told them about the nightmare. All of them listened intently.

      "That is really similar." Sam stated. I gave him a smile and shook my head as I clapped my hands twice to wake them all from their sad trance.

      "Okay so I don't wanna make this ride longer than it should be. Now that I told you guys, let's not focus on it for right now. This trip is supposed to be fun. Let's try to not let Lucas ruin this." I said with a smile. They all perked up a bit.

      "Well I have a way of getting your guys adrenaline running." Elton laughed. A second later the whole RV started to move side to side, sending all of us into anything beside us.

        "ELTON." Corey yelled as he almost fell out of his seat. Colby soon fell out of his, sending all of into a fit of laughter. I stood up and tried to move towards the back of the RV. Corey tried to do the same thing. Elton wipped the RV to the right, sending Corey and I into the cabinets. I fell to the ground in a fit of laughter while holding my hip.

      "Elton I think you broke my hip." I said laughing as I crawled to where Colby was still sitting on the floor. We were rocking side to side as Elton continued his antics.

      "Not my fault you decided to try and walk." Elton said laughing.

      "Thank god no one is on the road." Colby said laughing as he pulled me over to him.

      After a while a Elton trying to give us whiplash, he finally went back to driving like a sane person. We went back to sitting at the table to talk a bit again.

      "Anyone up for truth or dare?" Sam asked. The four of us exchanged looks and then agreed.

       "Elton, you wanna play too?" I asked, climbing over Colby to look at Elton as I waiting for his answer.

       "Sure but dares might be harder for me." He said.

      "Oh we will find good ones for you that won't cause you to crash." Corey said with a smirk. We laughed at Corey's response and then started truth or dare.

      "Okay, Corey, truth or dare?" Colby asked looking at Corey. While Corey was thinking, I sat down on Colby's lap since he wouldn't scoot over. He rested his head on my shoulder as he played with my fingers.
