9 - Let Me Help

Y/n's POV

       After we finished the video, we went our separate ways to get dressed and ready for the day. I didn't have any plans for the day so far so I decided to just relax in my bed. I pulled out my phone and played my favorite Spotify playlist as I grabbed my sketch book. I layed on my stomach as I started to draw what everyone came to mind. I started to play some music as. I jumped when I heard a loud knock interrupting my peace. I groaned as I erased the stray mark I had made.

     "Come in loser." I yelled as I sat my sketch book to the side and faced my door. My smile grew as I saw Colby walk in with an offended face.

     "I have you know that I am not a loser!" He said as he put a hand on his chest dramatically.

     "Oh hush, what did you come in here for?" I asked as I laughed at him.

       "I'm heading out to see Brennen and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with. Ya know, to get to know him more since your first impression on him wasn't that good. I swear he's not all that bad, sometimes at least." He laughed as he explained himself.

     "Sure, why the heck not. I don't need to bring any weapons for protection right?" I asked with a laugh as I got up off of my bed. I watched Colby as his eyes scanned over me, making him hesitate before he gave me an answer.

     "Uh yeah. Wait, no! No weapons are needed." He laughed as he moved out of the way to let me walk out of my room first. I laughed more as I walked out.

     "What ever you say Brock. If I get injured while I'm there you're paying for my hospital bill." I stated as I pointed at him and we walked down the stairs. He out his hands up defensively and shrugged his shoulders.

     "Okay, fair enough." He laughed. We walked down the stairs to see most of the roommates in the living room playing video games. We caught their attention as we walked down but of course their main focus stayed on the game.

     "Where are you two headed?" Aaron asked looking away from the game the other two were playing.

     "We are headed to Brennen's place. We are gonna film a bit and just hang out." Colby answered grabbing his keys and putting his shoes on.

     "Okay, have fun!" Aaron said turning back to the game. With that we left the house and got into Colby's car. He was being a gentleman and opened the door for me and I thanked him in a British accent. That lead to the rest of the car ride being us talking in British accents and jamming out to emo music. That's the only way that you can truly enjoy a car ride.

     We reached Brennen's house faster than we expected. We were having a bit too much fun during that car ride. We had been laughing our asses off almost the entire time. Ours faces were red and we had tears practically streaming down our faces. We took a breather before we got out of the car just to calm our selves down so that we didn't walk in looking like tomatoes. Colby walked up to the door first of course since this was his friends house. I was surprised to watch him pull out his own key to this place. As soon as he walked in his smile grew answer he cupped his hands over his mouth ready to yell.

     "Honey I'm hoome!~" He yelled in the girliest voice he could muster. I couldn't help but start laughing as I hadn't expected to say that or even say it in that voice. We then heard someone open a door and start running. Brennen ran at Colby and embraced him in a bone crushing hug as if they haven't seen each other in years. I waaas gonna be concerned about Colby's bones potentially being crushed but then I saw a dog run out from I'm assuming Brennen's room so of course my attention went to the dog.

      I smiled as the overly excited dog jumped around in my arms, excited to see a new person. He jumped around in my lap as I made attempt to pet him. I laughed as he had started licking my face.
