~ the calm before the storm ~
I wake up by a horrible sound. It was incredibly loud, just like a car crash happened inside my ear drum. I sit up, alarmed by how dark it is in the apartment. I reach to my bedside table and check the time on my phone. The bright screen lights up the whole room. 9:14. I  turn around and shift my body to the other side of the bed, expecting Harry to be there.  I move my hand around the sheets to try and feel him, but he isn't there. I instantly open my eyes, sitting up quickly. It's really dark so I can't see much, but I definitely can tell that there is no Harry.

Before I can react another deafening noise comes from outside, this time shaking the building. The sound echoes throughout the room, causing my heart to pound. I stand up from the bed and hesitantly walk over to the window. Once I get there I open the curtain and look about. The sky is as black as the night, and every couple of minutes a new flash of light comes out from the sky, followed by incredibly loud thunder. My apartment with Harry is relatively close to the Eiffel Tower, but I can't see it right now. The only things that are in sights the building that surround the apartment.

Panic starts to speed throughout me. Where is Harry? He could have been going for a walk. Before I could think anymore a final rumble travels through the sky before buckets of water is thrown over the city. It sounds like shots are being fired, as water just keeps pouring down. I turn around and rush to my bedside table. I pick up my phone and dial Harry's number. I wait a second or two before I hear a faint noise over the horrible sounds coming from outside. I recognise that noise. It's Harry's phone. It's coming from the table on the other side of the room.

I sprint over to the table and sure enough, I find Harry's phone along with a note lying next to it. I take the phone away from my ear and end the call. I put my phone down and pick up the piece of paper on the counter.
"Hey baby! Good morning :) I've just gone out for a while.... I left at 8:30 and should be back by a quarter to xx."

He should have been back by now. I hold the paper right in my hand and pace through the room, rain still bickering down. There is not much light passing through the room, so i can't really tell where everything is. I don't care though. I need Harry, his morning cuddles, his warmth. He could potentially be in danger, or lost.

The Thunder and lighting continues outside, and so does the rain. I decide to go into the living room and check the weather forecast. As I walk over to the television, I can hear something coming from outside.  I leave the living room and walk over to the front door. I slowly open it to find a very wet and puffed Harry.
"OH MY GOD HARRY!!" I jump into his arms, almost causing him to go flying back.
"Hey baby-  before he could finish I press my lips onto his. I pull away from him for a second and look at him. He is drenched, water pools around where we are standing. My Pjs are now soaking wet but I don't care. I run my fingers through his wet hair. I glance behind him to see something laying on the floor. I detach from him and walk behind him to pick it up.
"I went out this morning to go buy you some roses today, since when I went in my walk yesterday I saw them, but didn't bring any cash. I left earlier this morning and my the time I got there the storm had started. I am sorry if I worried you baby." I held the flowers with tears welding in my eyes. The storm had calmed down by now but it was still dark. I hoped that he couldn't tell what I was doing, he would get all sad too. This morning had been so stressful, but now he's here you couldn't be happier.

"Well, you owe me a lot of cuddle time, so get changed and have a shower. I'll be waiting in the bed." I say. He kisses me and then heads of the the shower.
