He runs his salmon hair through preventing it from tousling from his face. Natsu stretches from the bright rays shining upon the blinds. and reached for a black phone and hits the snooze button

It was another one of those quiet mornings he always had, just him and the apartment it wasn't anything fancy nor very lavish but enough to shelter

Natsu was going to visit his family today, thier house wasn't that far. He flips a pancake and prepares a simple meal for himself

After breakfast, natsu puts on a black shirt, jeans and comfy shoes, finally he coats himself in a sweater since it was a bit chilly outside

Some citizens were outside for a quick spring cleaning while others stayed inside for keeping warm. He plugs in his earphones to calm himself while he hums in a simple melody

He arrives from a few blocks away to a modern and medium brown door, a two-floored house with a finishing interior and a lawn for his mother's many flower bushes and finally, a childhood backyard where natsu and zeref always used to play

His finger hits the doorbell and sounds in a soft ding, noone answered...Natsu scratched his chin, curious he opens the door and finds the house empty

There was no sign of his parents nor his brother. He places his coat ontop of a chair and sat his bottom down on the couch

As natsu was going to turn on the TV, he heard someone humming upstairs a few minutes later he heard footsteps coming down

A bit scared, he turns off the tv and proceeds to lead his feet to the unknown sounds, He walks closer to a bedroom that was supposed to be a guest room

Natsu's hand clenches the doorknob while opening it slowly. His head peeks out and what his eyes saw was a woman with a fit body and calm eyes

"Oh! hi natsu didn't see you there"

The lady said, with natsu lost for words and barely saying anything

"Oh c'mon lucy! it's just small break for you to get away from your jerk of a fiance" Levy begs but lucy hesitates

"Lev you know that i can't trust sting with nashi and luke and what if something bad happens to them?"

She bites her lip, unsure if she could leave her children for one night till her friend had an idea to help her

"What about i call mirajane and they could stay at her house while me, you, erza and juvia go to the resort and have a girls night just you and us"

"That may be a good idea but..."

"Im just not really sure yet..."

Levy sighs with her hand on lucy's shoulder "Let me know when you change your mind and plus me and the girls were planning this for weeks and you don't deserve to be treated badly"

Lucy gives a warming hug while her friend smiles in her skin "Thanks lev..."

The two girls said thier goodbyes to each other as lucy watches the blunette walks to her place three houses away she turns her head back to the door jiggling the knob and swinging it open

She finds the TV brightly going on while she catches hearing moans again from the kitchen, probably her fiance hooking up

Lucy hangs up her keys and changes her outfit into a large tshirt and a fresh new pair of sleep underwear. She goes upstairs to check on her son and daughter

Opening thier door, nashi was finishing her homework while luke was fast asleep, lucy peered over nashi's shoulder "So, whatchu doing?"

"Oh just finishing some homework but i couldn't focus while the lady is so loud"

Lucy laughed at her joke, "So what happend while i was gone?"

Nashi looks down and back at her mom giving her a questioning look "Mom....?"

"Yes sweetie?"

"Why did you take us away from dad?"

Lucy froze and was left speechless. She was told she musn't tell the truth to anyone, especially her children.

If she told, Lucy might face the consequences from her family

She decided to leave a white lie so that her daughter will depend on that "Your dad and i fought so he and i needed space"

Nashi sighed and nodded "Alright mom, i believe you i just hope what you're saying is the truth"
