Harry's POV
I got a plan. It's perfect timing that Jennifer is at home. I can plan everything without her noticing.
I book two plane tickets to Norway. Jennifer loves the mountain plus she has new Visa Card. We'll spend couple of days there and Im going to propose her.
But first I need a ring. I should ask Leah for help. I look at the clock and it says 5pm. It's late already, I'll talk to her tomorrow.
On my way to home I bought dinner. Jennifer is too weak to cook.
I opened the front door and I can hear the TV. She's got bored in the bedroom. I giggle to myself and walk to the kitchen to put the dinner on the counter.
"Im home" I screamed slightly
"Welcome Harry! Jennifer is taking a nap upstairs" Leah came from the living room.
"Oh. Thank you for staying here till I come. How's Jennifer after the check up?"
"She's okay. It's just a fall flu. Nothing to worry just keep her warm and rested" she smiled and took her coat, ready to leave
"Uhm Leah? On Friday Im planning to go to Norway" "Business trip? Okay I'll take care of Jennifer"
"No, no..She's coming with me. I was wondering if you're free tomorrow so we could-"
"Hey Harry.. You're home already" soft voice interrupted me. I froze.
"Uhm yes. Why are you up? I heard you should take naps" I hugged her
"I got bored. I can take rest in front of the TV" Jennifer giggled
"Kay guys, Im leaving! See you tomorrow" Leah said and winked at me.
I nodded
Jennifer's POV
"I bought dinner" Harry said "It's in the kitchen"
"Great! Are you hungry?" I said as I put the meals in plates
"Of course" he said and washed his hands
After the dinner we watch TV. His legs were stretched on the coffee table and I was laying on his lap. "Breaking bad or Walking dead?" I asked him
"What about Breaking dead in the bed cause Im pretty tired and sleepy" he chuckled
"Sure" I giggled and turned off the TV
He carried me to the bed. "Thanks for the free taxi" I laughed
"Who said it's free? You can pay me when you get well because now you dont have enough voice" he said and kissed me
"Sounds good" I kissed him back.
He turned off the lights and came by my side
"Good night Jennifer"
"Night Harry. Sweet dreams"
Harry's POV
In the morning I wake up too early. Jennifer is still sleeping. Great I have time to make breakfast and take shower.
I kiss Jennifer's forehead and go downstairs.
I was in the middle of preparing pancakes when my phone beeped. I got a text from Leah.
'What are you up to for today?'
'Meet me at the office at 2pm' I just dont want to text her the reason. I wanna see her expression when I tell her Im going to propose to Jennifer
Leah's POV
What the hell Harry wants to do with me secretly from Jennifer?
It's almost 2pm and Im waiting for him in the office.
Finally he appeared.
"Hi Leah. Thank you for the help. I dont have much time so lets go, I'll tell you everything in the car" he said panting.
"Okay big guy"
"Let me just find my phone, Im looking for it the whole day" he said flipping through some piles of folders and documents
"Let me call you" I said and dialed his number several times
"Leave it. Maybe I've forgotten it at home" he said
Jennifer's POV
Im laying comfortable on the couch, watching some randomly interesting movie when the fucking phone decided to ring.
Wait. It's not even mine. Great Harry has forgotten his phone here.
I go to the kitchen and find it on the counter. It stopped ringing but its still lighten up.
I read the caller ID. Leah.
Leah? Why would she call Harry?
I clicked on her name to call her back but the messages appeared instead.
I started reading.
What the? Why does he want to meet her at the office? Maybe they're hooking up.
If so why did she call him? It's 2pm already. Maybe she wants to cancel the meeting because she has realized it's wrong to hook up with her best friend's husband.
I should go there and see what is happening.
