Dome woke up at the sound of bird chirping outside and the loud ass rooster nearby.

He didn't even appreciate the birds chirping outside cause he was not a morning person. He'll never be a morning person. The chirping of the birds annoyed him so much that he got out of bed and opened the window to grab that branch and shook it scaring the birds away.

"Fucking birds thinking they sing so well. Bullshit." He growled and rubbed the tiredness of his eyes.

His eyes widened when he saw two males standing outside the gates and he knew one of them. It was Kao. Kao and his dad Dome guessed.

Dome smiled awkwardly at them and he hurriedly closed the windows and gargle some mouth wash before running downstairs.

He opened the gates and smiled at Kao and Kao's dad.

"Hello, is the mayor inside?" He asked.

"Yeah... I guess he was still sleeping." Dome answered quietly.

"What happened to you? Did he treat you badly for you to have eye bags and dark circles? You look tired. Did you even sleep?" Kao asked and checked Dome.

"The mayor is nice... Its just that I was too engrossed with my paperworks." Dome answered and Kao's dad hit Kao's arm.

"The mayor is really nice you dummy. Everyone loved the mayor because he would always put the farmers first before those businessmen who would love to place some factories here." Kao's dad said and hit Kao's arm.

Oh that's why...

"I'm sorry okay. I'm sorry..." Kao apologized.

"And oh. Poh, this is my former classmate Dome Woranart. Dome, this is my dad." Dome smiled at Kao's dad and shook the older male's hand.

"Nice to meet you Dome."

"Nice to meet you too sir."

"Can you please give these fruits vegetables to the mayor?" Kao's dad handed him a basket of fruits and basket of vegetables.

"Sure, No problem uncle." Dome smiled and Kao's dad pinched his cheek.

"What an adorable boy you are. Have a nice day Dome and hope you'll enjoy our humble town." Kao's dad said.

"Dont even think about cooking or you'll set the mayor's house on fire." Kao said and laughed before messing Dome's hair more.

"Do you need help?" Kao asked and Dome shook his head.

"Nah, I can manage. Thank you for this." Dome said and waived goodbye to Kao and Kao's dad.

He went back inside the house and made sure to lock the gate. He was struggling to carry the baskets to the kitchen because it was heavy as fuck and he was tired as fuck.

"What am I suppose to do with these?" He asked himself. He seriously had no idea how to cook a decent meal.

His mom and servants did it for him and he was not interested in cooking at all. He only liked eating.

"What should I do with all of these squash, eggplant, potatoes, carrots and leaves." He checked the basket of fruits and saw berries, bananas and watermelon.

"What am I suppose to do?" asked he grabbed his phone to search some easy pancake recipies.

He searched for a mixing bowl and whisk. He decided do what he saw at the internet.

He grabbed two bananas and peeleed it and crushed it on his mixing bowl using a fork. He was so focused with what he was watching on his phone that he did not noticed the mayor was watching him silently.
