"I want to preserve nature and farmers will always come first." The mayor said and Dome felt uneasy.

Was he proud because Pavel was a very good man or was he disappointed because he knew his efforts will all go to waste.

It was already his fifth day and still nothing happens. Pavel lets him do whatever he wants and the mayor would always bring the handsome city boy with him wherever he goes.

He was currently attending a meeting with huge company owners that wants to place some factories on the town.

Dome kept his mouth shut the entire time and listened to Pavel firmly tell those businessmen the he will never give up those land.

"Name your price Mister mayor." One business man said and took out his cheque book.

Dome's brows furrowed and he turned to look at Pavel who looked really calm. He even smiled.

"I don't need your money." He said stood up.

"This meeting is done." Pavel said and tapped Dome's shoulder.

"Dome, lets go home." He said and Dome felt warm.

Home.

He's been staying there for five days but Pavel insists Dome can also call it his home. Sometimes he really can't understand the older male.

There was something that he wants to tell Dome but he would always hold himself back and Dome wants to know what was holding Pavel back.

"Can I drive your car?" Dome asked quietly and Pavel nodded and handed him the key.

They went to Pavel's ranger and Dome took peeks on the mayor who looked really stressed. It was near sunset and

"Are you gonna play tonight?" Dome asked and the mayor shook his heas and let out a really deep and long sigh.

"Lets go somewhere." Dome said and Pavel laughed and nodded.

They stopped by in a convenience store and Dome bought some drinks and food they can eat later.

Dome drove Pavel's car to the land property he just bought days ago. The older male was confused why he was brought there Dome only smiled at him and turned the engine off.

They sat on a huge boulder and watched the sunset. Nobody was saying a thing and Dome can tell there is a lot of things going on Pavel's head.

The mayor kept on sighing and Dome bit the inside of his cheek. He was not good at comforting people. When his friends do it around him he would spit fire at them which would make his friends become more problematic.

Dome had the paper bag with food on his lap. Pavel was awfully quiet and Dome was new to it. Normally he will get teased with the older male and of course the sexual jokes.

"Man. That billion can renovate the town." Pavel said and sighed and Dome turned to look at the older male who was sitting beside him.

Dome observed the mayor silently and he saw how sharp his jaw was sharp, his nose was pointed, his eyes were fierce yet kind. He was handsome which makes Dome think.

Damn. Was he always this handsome?

The mayor let out a sigh and Dome bit the inside of his cheek and grabbed a sandwich and let Pavel take the first bite.

"The sandwich is good. Go ahead." The mayor said and Dome said and took a bit of his sandwich.

"That billion can build a high school here so the kids don't have to travel for an hour to the nearest high school." Dome can feel how sad the older male was.
