—Unbelievable, Jennie Kim. Simply unbelievable.

Jennie's eyes fluttered open at the moment she heard the nagging voice of her best friend. She rubbed her right eye (and smudged yesterday's mascara) and, slowly, sat down, with her feet entangled in the silky sheets. She slowly began recovering her senses; first, by noticing the blinding light coming from the window— because of that, she squinted her eyes—; then, by noticing the smell of the leftover food on the floor; and finally, by realizing Jisoo was judging her with her arms crossed.

—In my life, Jennie. Never had I seen your room so messy!

Jennie rubbed her head, and noticed that yes, her room seemed like a zoo. Besides the leftover food, she could see most of her clothes on the floor, as well as her desk full of papers and whatnot.

She sleepily looked at Jisoo—still with her stern expression— and grunted.

—Look, Jennie, I know that everything that has happened, with your brother in a coma and your father a foot away from being in jail, you must be tired. But, come on! You're Jennie Kim.

Jennie directed her a sleepy smile, which Jisoo answered with a snort.

—Now come on, Mandu. We will clean your room later, 'kay? But right now, you need to be ready to go to the police station.

—M'kay.

—Now you speak?

Jennie giggled.

—What do you want me to say? That you were right? You knowyou were right, you bitch.

Jisoo cracked a smile.

—I know I'm always right. Now go dress yourself!

—You are going to ask the people preparing your funeral service to bury you with Chanel, won't you?

Despite being tired and sleepy, Jennie had spent a whole hour getting ready, choosing her clothes and doing her makeup, finally deciding to wear a Chanel attire— a light blue blazer with a discrete plaid grey pattern, a white t-shirt and pants with the same patter as the blazer.
