David's POV:

I grabbed all of the shopping bags while Chloe still in my arms and carefully walked to my car outside. I threw the bags in the back seat and softly placed Chloe in the passenger seat. Her face slightly tilted to the side when I realized her eyes were closed. I got scared at first but then thought that she might have blacked out due to the sudden panic. I kept quiet and drove to her home.

It's been four hours and I'm still sitting and watching Chloe while she's sleeping peacefully on her bed. I can't figure out if she's sleeping or fainted. But she seems in so much peace I don't wanna bother her. I started using my phone when I saw at the corner of my eye, Chloe's eyes were blinking. I locked my phone and turned to hold her face in my hands.

                                              ***********

Chloe's POV:

I opened my eyes after what felt like an eternity only to find David sitting beside me holding my face in his hands.

"What happened?" I asked completely confused. "David?"

"Everything's fine my bunny." He stated. Suddenly, I felt my cheeks hurt really bad. I quickly moved David's hands from my face and covered my painful cheeks.

"What's wrong?" David asked with his eyebrows scrunched due to confusion. I soon remembered why they were hurting so bad and tears started streaming down my face on the thought of the thing that happened to me.

"He slapped me so badly, it's hurting." I sobbed.

"What? He slapped you?" He frowned. I nodded in response. He cupped my face and wiped my tears. I could see he's gorgeous eyes turning darker.

"H-he to-touched me everywhere." I said, unable to talk while sobbing.

"Even on the places I didn't dare to?" He exclaimed. I moved his hands out of my face and hugged him tightly.

"Even in the places you didn't dare to." I bursted out crying. He wrapped his arms around me, rubbing his hand on my back, trying to calm me down.

"It's okay, I'm here with you. I won't let this happen again to you." He said. It made me feel so much better and safe. I broke the hug and looked straight in his eyes.

"Thanks" I smiled with tears still in my eyes. He wiped them real quick and smiled at me. "I'm hungry." I said pouting my lips.

"Eat me." David smirked, causing me to giggle.

"No, for real. I want something to eat." I said.

"Fine, I'll make you some soup. Just have some rest till I make it." He smiled and walked out of the room. I remembered I didn't have any groceries in my home except for some junk snacks and there's nothing for David to prepare the soup for me. I looked down and noticed I was still in David's jacket which was zipped, thankfully. A few minutes later David came in my room with a questioning look on his face.

"You literally have no groceries at your home except for junk." He said. "Don't you cook anything?"

"No, I just like to eat junk food rather than cooking." I looked down in embarrassment.

"How are you still skinny?"  He looked jealous. "Wanna go out and buy some stuff from the supermarket with me?" I'd love to go with him. I nodded in response and jumped out of my bed.

I insisted to be in his jacket and my jeans shorts and he didn't refuse. We walked out of the house and to the supermarket since it was only 4 blocks away from my house. We went inside and I asked him to buy whatever he thinks is good for me since I was so tired. We roamed around looking for some groceries. I wasn't paying much attention, then I spotted a whole isle filled with stuffed animals.
