Chapter 3

I didn't see any of this coming, I must have past out after that because they next thing I know I wake up and I am in the room that they said was mine. I wished that they told my mother and sister that I wasn't coming home for a little bit. I just hope they will be okay without me. When I sat up there was three girls standing waiting for me. I guess they where here to help me get ready. " Would you like your blue dress or red dress Mrs." they asked me at the same time. I was startled at first but then I realized they were talking to me. " Um, I guess the red one, scenes I wore blue yesterday." I answered as I got out of bed. One of them helped me put my dress on when the other to made my bed and folded my pj's. It was weird not getting to put my on my own dress, but I guess it was their job's. A man knocked on the door and walked me down to the first floor, then lead me to the thrown room. It was a large room with two chairs in the middle. There was the queen in the middle at her thrown. "You now are in training to be the queen." she said as I walked to her and sat next to her." Just to be fair to you I am not really good at being normal, so how am i going o be a queen. I think you made a mistake choosing me to be queen. Isn't there any one else who could take my spot." I asked confidently. She looked down and answered,"There is no one else, well there is but your sister is to young. Your dad hadn't had any other kids before you so you are the only one how could even come close to being queen." I could tell that she was about ti cry so I turned away. There was an silence that filled the room for a little until she stood and lead me to may dads study."Your father loved it in here more then anything in the world. It is yours now. You may come in here and read or write or even draw. Your dad love to draw as you can tell." she told me as she point to some amazing pieces of art. "My mom told me that I draw like him, but she never told me he was the prince." I said as I looked over the empty spaces on his wall, thinking i could fill it up for him. "I know. that is why i never saw you two. They didn't want to be treated as royalty, they wanted to be treated as equals." she whispered to me as she pulled me closer. "I like it here. I just might take you up on that offer." I giggled as I spun to see the hole room. It was huge. I think it was bigger than my house. My closet was full of dresses I will never us while I stay there. I had noticed that I was not the only girl there. There I was groups of girls visiting the queen. They said that they were there to see the queen before she stepped down. I was surprised at first, but then it hit me, they were talking about me taking over for the queen. I had to sit down or I would have fainted again. Then everything went black.
