Nip opened the door to his hotel room with a sigh. He wasn't in the mood for the shit that was about to happen nor did he think it was necessary. He and Lauren were two grown adults that could handle situations by themselves who didn't need somebody trying to be the mediator and bring them together.
"Hey, ma," he said as he kissed his mother on the cheek.
