For the past three days, Lauren had been staying in a hotel with her phone powered off. She needed to use this time to get herself together and her thoughts straight. She didn't like the events that had taken place a few days earlier. She was way out of her character and she hated that. Lauren sat in the bed and turned her phone on. She was missing her baby something terrible but she knew he was in good hands with Nip.
Multiple voicemails and text messages popped up on her phone. The majority of them were from Nip and he was threatening her with what he was going to do to her if she didn't bring her ass home. One was from her job telling her they were going to have to let her go but the one that caught we her off guard was the one from Sean .
"I told you not to fuck with me, Lauren ! Since you wanted Nip so bad, let him take care of your ass. You better be glad your stupid ass wasn't in the house!" Sean yelled like a mad man. His voice sounded so deranged that she barely recognized it.
Immediately Lauren jumped up and called her sister.

"Bout time, Lauren! I was about to come to that hotel and snatch your ass up. I know you said you needed time but damn," Megan fussed.
"Meg, where are you?" Lauren asked.
"I'm at home on babysitting duty. I have Kross so don't worry about him. Why you sound like that? What's wrong?" Megan asked.
"Nothing, where's Nip?"
"He said he had to handle something at the house in downtown-" That was all Lauren needed to hear as she made her way to Nip's other house.
Right about now she didn't give a damn about Vanessa being there because she really needed to talk to Nip as soon as possible. Remembering she didn't have her car because it was fucked up, Lauren had to take a cab.
