St. Ambrose's School for Girls was founded in the early 1900s, originally as a place where wealthy families could send their daughters to receive an "education" before they were to be married off. Today, it is an internationally known, highly exclusive private school where you need both the money and the brains to get by. It has a reputation mainly for its academic excellence and sense of community due to its small size. This is the side of St. Ambrose's that the rest of the world sees. This story, however, is about the side of St. Ambrose's that most are lucky not to see.

Four girls whom have known each other for years have just entered the last of four years that they will have spent at St. Ambrose's. Before they leave for university, friendships will be tested, trials and tribulations will be faced head on. With just over 30 other girls in the grade, and under 150 in the other three grades combined, there is an endless amount of adventures and experiences for these 4 girls to have. Let's meet the girls shall we?

Madisyn Frader, better known as Maddi, was adopted as a baby. She has a younger sister who was also adopted and both of her parents are lawyers. Maddi is short, spunky, but sweet, and prefers being active and outdoors over inside and, god forbid, shopping.

Chanel Kaynor, aptly named because of her single mother's love of all things glitzy and glamorous, is wealthy and she knows it. She has two older brothers, one of which is a half-brother, and has always lived in the lap of luxury. However, Chanel is book smart and her mind is the opposite of dirty although she is not so naïve to the realities of the world.

Helen Keaton, known by her teammates as "Keats", is a tough-as-nails kind of girl with a passion for soccer. She has two younger sisters, a businessman for a father, and a special-needs teacher for a mother. Her family is close knit and loving, which has made her both a hardworking and incredibly caring person.

Finally, is Grace Chen, a talented violinist and self proclaimed perfectionist. She has a younger brother, a stock trader father, and a perfect housewife of a mother. Grace is loyal and sassy but is always respectful towards figures of authority. On the outside, she's both the perfect daughter and student but she has as many problems and secrets as anyone else.

These four girls -- Madisyn, Chanel, Helen, and Grace -- formed an unlikely but immensely strong friendship. One which will be put through the ultimate test: senior year at St. Ambrose's School for Girls.
