Feel free to debate about what happened between the babysitters within the two hours of the kids bedtime and when the parents got home. This is an extremely short chapter but it's the ending so calm children calm. Idk how that makes it better but.. JuSt ReAd.
When the parents arrived, Albert and Y/N were there to answer the door.
"Hey! Did you guys have fun?" Mrs. Garza asked.
"Yeah, we did. We'd be glad to babysit again,"Albert beamed.
Y/N nodded. "They're good kids."
"Most babysitters never come back,"
"Well, we'd do it again. Just call!" Y/N grinned from ear to ear.
Mr. Garza handed them both a check. "There's the pay. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight!" The two called as they walked out.
They walked side-by-side, Y/N leaned against Albert, their fingers interlocked.
"Thanks for making the night great," Y/N mumbled sleepily.
"You're welcome. I enjoyed it."
The two smiled as they walked off in the dark of the night, under the light of the moon and occasional street lamp as the crickets chirped.
