"Agh!" Optimus Prime yelled as he got kicked into a building by his nemesis, Megatron. "Prime!" The grey cybertronian yelled, and shot the Prime in the chestplate with his fusion cannon. "Still going to fight I see!" Megatron continued to yell as he slammed into the formerly known mech known as Orion Pax. The Autobot and Decepticon's most recent battle had brought them into the earth city known as New York city. The city had already been devestated. Did there really have to be more un-needed destruction? Apparently so in the mind of Megatron. As long as he killed Optimus Prime, and brought tyranny to Cybertron like he had long dreamed, he would always go after Prime, for he'd always stop the villain. Now this was his chance. Megatron pointed his fusion cannon at Optimus's head as he remained against his body, with his arm against his neck cords. The fusion cannon was already heating up and lighting up with streaks of purple down the blaster. "Any last words?" Megatron said with a smirk on his faceplate as he stared at the grunting Prime who was grinding his denta under his battle mask. Optimus, as fast as he could, put his ion blaster up to Megatron's helm and didn't hesitate to pull the trigger. Megatron let out a menacing groan as he slowly fell to the ground. "No Prime, please! I showed you mercy once!" Megatron yelled out as he held his helm, slowly dying. "I actually do have some last words. Stay down." Optimus said, and pointed his ion blaster at Megatron's helm, not hesitating to pull the trigger once more, finally killing the Decepticon leader. Optimus looked up at the devestated ruins of the city, and the sky, finally deciding this war had taken its toll of casualities. He looked at his fallen heroes, who had went into stasis from extreme trauma. He went over to Wheeljack, who laid there, unable to move, and next to the Decepticon Skywarp. It was presumed they had fought each other during the battle. Optimus kneeled down, and started to do the one thing he could to 'wake him up'. Shake him. Wheeljack was sensitive when it came to those things so Optimus was almost sure that he'd wake up from it. As soon as Optimus had done as he had planned. Wheeljack did the exact thing Optimus predicted; wake up. Wheeljack sprang up, and almost punched Prime, but stopped himself. "Prime? What happened?" Wheeljack asked looking around. "I'll explain it when we get back to Cybertron." Prime continued. "Cybertron?" Wheeljack asked raising an optic ridge. "Yes. We must not take any more lives in this war. At least any other species'. We have to take it back to our homeworld. We can't let the humans lose their loved ones anymore." Optimus continued turning around and looking up. "Now c'mon. We have soldiers to wake up." Wheeljack and Optimus started walking around the cluttered streets, picking up their fallen, and then finally calling Ultra Magnus for pickup. This was unusual. Magnus tried to talk Optimus out of going to earth, but Optimus did anyway. Magnus's ship soon landed onto earth, and the cybertronians stepped on board. "So, Optimus. What's going on again?" Sideswipe asked the Prime, staring up at him. However, something caught his eye from the back window. The Elite Guard, also known as the Elite Task Force or 'super cops' as Prowl would call them were starting to place the fallen soldiers onto the cargo bay of the ship. "I'll explain when we get back to Iacon." Optimus said, and they all watched as the ship lifted up from the ground and started shooting itself into space. "Why are you going back to Cybertron, Optimus?" Ultra Magnus asked Optimus. "The war has taken too many of the humans. I fear that the amount of terror we've inflicted upon their world will plunge them into a civil war much like ours." Optimus continued. Ultra Magnus just looked away.
