Chapter III: Roll out

Optimus Prime stepped out of his space craft with Kup, Whirl, Skids, Sideswipe, Warpath, Jetfire, and Drift. "Drift, Jetfire, you're team B. Circle the city and make sure nobody leaves unchecked Drift. Jetfire, you're our eyes in the sky. The rest of you are with me." The Prime said as he walked forward, Kup next to him and Whirl watching everyone and everything. Warpath followed close behind along with Skids and Sideswipe. Optimus brought these Autobots to Xion-32, a marketting planet, to search for Megatron. They found a lead from one of the Autobots stationed here. "Autobots, keep your guard up." Optimus said continuing to walk down the cluttered streets. "So... Skids... I heard you were apart of some sort of elite task force and was sent to assassinate Tyrest." Sideswipe said while looking at Skids. "I love stories!" Warpath said in his somewhat annoying voice. "Okay yeah, I was sent, but not to assassinate. My weapon was a thought bullet. It implants thoughts in someone's head. This one wasn't to get him to put a gun to his head and pull the trigger, or cut himself in half. It was to just get him to retire, end the corruption." Skids said. "Except Tyrest's will was too strong. He sent his guards to find me and Getaway. When they found me Tyrest implanted the same thought bullet into my head, but alterred it. They made me put a gun to my head and pull the trigger. Which I did. I woke up around a million years later, and that's where Kup and his merry band of misfits found me in Tyrest's base after they assaulted it. The team was Springer, Perceptor, himself, Roadbuster, and Drift. They called themselves 'The Wreckers.' Pretty weird name right?" Skids said with a smirk on his face plate. Sideswipe's and Warpath's jaws were dropped just staring at Skids. "Yeah okay. Lets go." Skids said and walked closer to Optimus. "Here." Optimus said looking over a small cover on the side of a building. He took it out gently and set it down, stepping inside and climbing down the ladder. Kup shrugged and followed, and soon the rest did too. They ended up in front of a cell. Optimus opened it to see Ravage and Laserbeak inside. Ravage pounded toward Optimus, but the Prime just swatted the jaguar away. Whirl transformed into his alt mode, a helicopter. "Oh no you don't!" Whirl yelled as he shot constant missiles at the cassete Cybertronians, all of them missing. "Whirl quit it! The entire compound is gonna collapse on top of us!" Sideswipe yelled. "They're getting away!" Whirl yelled back. "Well why don't you make a fragging effort to actually apprehend them instead of just staying stationary?!" Skids yelled as he ran outside, the rest of the Autobots behind him. They all sprinted down the cluttered streets, chasing after the two Decepticons. "Seekers! Those are our targets!" The Autobots heard from behind them. Kup turned around to see Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Thrust, Acid Storm, and Dirge chasing them. Kup took his musket-shaped-shotgun, and aimed at Starscream's engine. Starscream shoots his missile at the dark green veteran, but at the same time he shoots too, blowing out Starscream's Engine and making him crash into a building. Skywarp transforms and lands next to Starscream. "Are you okay?" He asked. Starscream was trying to support himself as he tried standing. He was holding onto some rubble against a wall. "Go you fool! I'll be fine!" The main seeker yelled. Skywarp jumped off the building and transformed, then teleported with the other seekers. "Jetfire, where's our air support?!" Optimus yelled into his radio. "On my way Optimus." Jetfire replied as he flipped his battle mask over his face and transformed into his ginormous alt mode, and sped toward the currently battling Autobots and Decepticons. Jhiaxus saw him speed by with Dreadwing. "Dreadwing, chase after him." Jhiaxus said as he pointed toward the aircraft flying away. Dreadwing transformed into his alt mode, a stealth bomber, and chased after the once known Skyfire. Jetfire stopped his engines, turned himself around and just faced the incoming Dreadwing. He shot one of his missiles at the blue and red highlighted Decepticon, and he went down. However Dreadwing crashes into Jetfire, damaging his wing and knocking him into the ground. So does Dreadwing."Jetfire! Jetfire!" Optimus yells into the radio. Jetfire wakes up to hear that distraught voice yelling into his audial receptors. "I'm fine Optimus. I just crashed because of Dreadwing. Jhiaxus is here too somewhere." Jetfire said. The white and red Autobot transformed again into his alt mode and sped toward the battle field. He finds the seekers and transforms when he gets close enough to Skywarp. He grabs the seeker as he transforms, his hand gripped tightly around Skywarp's leg. He deactivates his thrusters and falls to the ground with Skywarp in his grasp. "Let me down you idiotic freak!" The seeker yelled as he pointed his arm cannon at Jetfire's head and fired it. It caused a scratch and thats about it. There's really no doubt Jetfire's armor is incredibly strong and durable. "Retreat!" Starscream yelled. Jetfire and Skywarp finally hit the ground. Skywarp teleported into the sky and transformed into his alt mode, following the seekers. The Autobots see Jhiaxus and Dreadwing escaping with them, LaserBeak behind with Ravage on his back. The Autobots all looked up. "Should I chase after them?" Jetfire asked Optimus. "No." The Prime replied. "I placed a tracking device on Starscream after he got up." Skids said with a smirk on his face plate.
