Chapter V: Deception

"No, I'm not saying we lost, I'm saying we royally got our afts kicked." Sideswipe said to Hot Rod. "Thunderwing is trapped in space, and he isn't going to come back until he decides to so thats one less thing we don't have to worry about." Hot Rod replied as they both walked down a destroyed coridoor. Sideswipe then pressed a button, which opened up a door in front of them. "Yeah. Come in." Sideswipe said walking inside. Inside was Optimus Prime, standing in front of a war table, with Arcee standing in front of him. "No Arcee, we can't do that." Optimus said. "Well then we launch a surprise attack on them!" Arcee barked back at him as she slammed her hands down onto the table. "Arcee. We can't. There's too many risks and we lost too many men yesterday." Optimus said gently. "Well then what are we going to do?! Wait here for the next attack?!" Arcee yelled at the Prime. Suddenly, Skids walked into the room, and patted her shoulder plate, gesturing her to come with him. She growled, and then followed Skids out of the room. "So what just happened there?" Sideswipe asked looking around. "Arcee wanted to attack the Decepticons." Optimus said. "She definitely has anger issues." Hot Rod said with a chuckle. He grabbed a sphere from a shelf and started tossing it in the air calmly. "What is this thing anyway?" He asked  with a smile on his face plate. "Put that down. That's a black hole grenade designed by Wheeljack." Optimus said staring at Hot Rod. "Okay!" Hot Rod said scared and quickly put it on the shelf again. Suddenly, Jazz walked in. "Hey Optimus, incoming hostiles. But they're not shooting." Jazz said. Optimus just looked at him, and radioed to the Autobots. "Autobots, incoming hostiles, meet by the Aerialbot hanger." Optimus said running as fast as he could down there. Hot Rod, Sideswipe, and Jazz shrugged their shoulders, transformed, and sped to Optimus, who was also transformed in his alt mode and speeding toward the hangar. They all transformed at the same time, and stepped in front of the crowd of Autobots. "How many hostiles, Cliffjumper?" Optimus asked the red Autobot. "I counted two." Cliffjumper responded. "Alright. Open the hangar, Trailcutter." Optimus said. Trailcutter nodded and walked to the hanger doors, then pressing a red button. He stepped back as the hangar doors opened. Optimus then realized the two hostiles were coming toward the hangar. "Autobots, open fire!" Optimus yelled as he took his ion blaster and started shooting toward the Decepticons. So did the other Autobots. Suddenly, their weapons started releasing charges of electricity, and stopped working. "The hell?" Whirl asked as he dropped his weapon. They all made a discharging sound, and the lights turned off. The two Decepticons got into range, and transformed, no weapons on them. The two raised their hands in the air. "We are not here to harm any of you. We want to join your side. You can scan us for weapons if need be. Even spy equipment." The purple one said. "He's right. None of them have any harmful equipment on them." Wheeljack said. "You may lower your hands." Optimus said to them. "What are your names?" The Prime asked them. "My name is Cyclonus, and the one next to me is Brainstorm." The purple one said. "Yes. I disabled your weapons. They should be back online in 3, 2, 1." Brainstorm said, then suddenly the gun's lights lit up. "The Decepticons are too dangerous. We decided to join your side because of their deception." Cyclonus said. " I can give you any information you want." Brainstorm said as he pulled out a tiny disc. "I stole this from Soundwave." He said again. "However, there's a secret project that Shockwave's been working on that nobody knows about, called Project Centasaur. He's been travelling to another dimension and stealing technology, and  wouldn't shut up about a thing called 'Dark Cybertron.' I saw some of it. That dimension's Shockwave failed while using an army of 'Centasaurs.' This dimension's Shockwave won't fail. And we don't know what exactly he's going to do." Brainstorm said. Everyone just looked at each other, almost 100% sure what Shockwave was going to do. Destroy the universe and destroy any and all existance of any and all species in it.
