Cole knew it was time. They didn't know how they were going to find the portal to transport them back to 2009, but they would figure it out. After all, they had been working undercover with Otto for months now. Otto knew all the secrets to the universe, and Cole knew he could help them.

As soon as Cole called Otto and he picked up the phone, he knew exactly what the other person was calling about. This was long overdue.

Otto had to be the lead singer off Waterparks (Ottoparks) and Cole would be able to help him with that.

"Otto, I need you to open the portal," Cole said. Within seconds, the air in Cole's room started changing. They grabbed their toothbat quickly.

"You better not fuck this up," Otto said. Cole spun around quickly, not expecting Otto to be in their in room, or at least not so soon. "Did you think I could just open the portal from Houston?" Otto said, acknowledging Cole's questioning look.

Cole shrugged, Otto could do a lot of things.

"You have to be careful," Otto started. "This is before I was in the band, so I won't be there to help you. You're gonna have to get past The Blue Poptarts without me."

Cole nodded. They were ready. They had been preparing for this for years. Before they met Otto at Chipotle a few months back, they had no idea how their plan was actually going to come to life.

When Otto and Cole first layed eyes on each other, they knew they could help fufill each other's dreams.

Cole needed to kill Scene Awsten, and Otto needed Awsten killed.

"You need to sharpen those teeth first, though," Otto said, quite unimpressed. He expected Cole to be more prepared.

"Well how was I supposed to know you were going to open the portal today?" They asked. Otto shrugged. He expected Cole to be prepared at all times. "How am I supposed to sharpen them?" they asked. Otto rolled his eyes and snatched the tootbat from Cole's hands. He waved his hand over the bat, performing some sort of magical ritual. Cole watched him, and now they were the unimpressed one. Nothing was happening. "Now looks who's the unprepared one?" they said. Otto grunted.

"I need time to recharge. I wasted a lot of energy teleporting here," he said, acting like this was common knowledge.

"Okay Mr. 'I'm the most powerful being in the universe,'" Cole said, mocking Otto.

"You know I run on Chipotle. I haven't eaten in days."

"Well that's not my fault...can we get on with this?" Cole asked, now getting impatient.

Otto sighed, talking to teenagers was annoying as shit.

He held his hand over the bat again, wiggling his fingers slightly. Little puffs of pink smoke started to form around the bat.

Cole started giggling, and Otto glared at them.

"My magical aura is pink, so what?" Otto said.

Despite being friends for a few months now, Otto had never actually shown Cole his magical powers.

"Here," Otto said once he was finished. He handed Cole the toothbat.

The teeth were razor sharp and filling up almost the entire bat now. Cole inspected the bat, turning it around in their hands. They took their index finger and-

"Don't touch it, dumbass," Otto said. Cole stopped and looked up, pouting slightly. "We have to get going. I have a show to play," Otto said. This would be his first show as the lead singer.
