A broken wing
A broken heart
A broken Hallelujah that tarred me apart
Another little bone
Another little part
Another little piece of happiness sacrificed to art
No more music
No more dance
No more people taking a chance
A shattered smile
A shattered start
A shattered Hallelujah that helped shatter my heart
A bandaged heart
A bandaged song
A bandaged love that once was gone.
A wrapped up wing
A wrapped up heart
A wrapped Hallelujah that now can fly free
A brand new smile
A brand new life
A brand new Hallelujah that thrives in my heart
A new beginning
And a different end
This once broken Hallelujah
Is beginning again
