Chapter Six

Justin's POV

I asked around for Ariana's phone number, so I would be able to give her the flowers and she could give them to Ria. After flirting with a couple of nurses, I finally got the number. After three rings she picked up.
"He-hello." She said in a hushed tone. It sounded like she was crying.
"Hey Ariana, its Dr.Bieber." I said soothingly.
She went quiet for a couple of moments before I hear her go into another room.
" You did this you asshole." She practically screams through the phone. I was clueless as to what she was talking about. But I didn't like the way she was talking to me.
" What the fuck did I do?" I screamed back.
" I FOUND RIA ON THE FLOOR UNCONSCIOUS IN HER LIVING ROOM -" she screeched back but I cut her off.
" CHECK HER PULSE, IS SHE BREATHING? " I shouted.
" YES, SHE SEEMS LIKE SHE FAINTED BUT I CANT KNOW FOR SURE UNTIL SOMEONE CHECKS HER OUT. I CALLED A FRIEND BUT HES TAKING LONG" she is out of breath by now and a fresh set of tears escape.
" Text me her address" I hear myself say, before I hang up and rush to my car.
My heart was beating slightly faster than usual. I had this sudden urge to make sure she was alright. My mind goes into deep thought before I hear my phone ding.

Ariana's POV

I don't think it is a good idea having Justin come over but I need someone here right now. I can barely stand next to her.
I hear someone knocking on the door , well practically banging.
" ITS OPEN" I yell out. Justin barges in, takes a look at me, and then looks at the couch where Ria was resting.
I turn away and start to cry as I see him checking her.
Ria and I have been best friends ever since high school. We used to be the nerds, always sitting in the front of the class and answering all the questions. Populars would always try to make fun of us, but little did they know that we would end up having high paying careers in the future. She ended up going to a online college and got all her credits there. However I went to a state college for a couple of years.
Shes my not sister, sister.
I take a glance over at Ria and Justin, he was checking her heartbeat with his stethoscope before she started waking up.
Confused and angry.

Ria's POV

I woke up with a slight headache and my throat felt dry. I was laying on a hard cushion which then I discovered as my couch. Damn I knew I needed to remodel.

Ariana was hovering over me as well as another guy. Once my eyes began to focus I noticed who the other guy was.
" What the hell are you doing in my house Bieber" then I noticed that he had a stethoscope, was he checking me out?
He looked startled before replying back " I think we should take you to the hospital, take a couple of tests and an MRI to make sure nothing is seriously wrong. " he says more to Ariana than to me.
She nods ok before coming over to me and try's to get me up.

After many tests we came into the conclusion that I had a severe panic attack.
I dont know how it happened but it did. I was sitting in my hospital bed with Ariana sitting beside me. We were watching cartoons until Ariana broke the silence.
" Im moving in, Ria. " is all she signs to me.
" What why? You love your condo? Do you need help financially? You know that I'm here baby. " I say.
" No, no no. " she pauses . " its not the money, I want to live with you so I can take care of you and you can take care of me". She says.
Thats when I knew where the conversation was going.
She has tried so hard to let me live with her for so long, she was always worried that me living alone and being deaf would not help me in a situation like a fire.
And me being stubborn, I never let her. I always had an excuse as to why I could take care of myself.
I didn't need anyone. My parents didn't need me so I didn't need them. The only person I really need is Ariana. So for the first time, in such a long time, I stood quiet. Silently agreeing to her moving in.
