Chapter One

SONG OF THE CHAPTER; ALIVE BY ONE DIRECTION

"I'm Harry," a mysterious guy slurred from behind me.

"Maggie's the name," I whispered. "Well Magenta really but everyone calls me Maggie."

"Well Maggie, you're cuter then a button," he laughed. I turned to look at him and I spilt my drink.

"I'll buy ya another drink. If ya like I mean," he laughed at me. I just laughed along.

"Sure," I said smiling.

He bought me a drink and we both had drink after drink after drink. Getting more intoxicated with each drink.

~Next morning~

I woke up with the most horrible headache in the world. Crystal was standing at the foot of my bed. I yawned and flipped over.

"Missy, you have a lot of explaining to do," she said in a mother like voice.

"Crystaaaal!" I moaned. She was always like my mother... except without the abuse and name calling...

"Don't Crystal me Magenta," she replied, placing her hands on her hips.

"What do you want mother?" I hissed.

"Maggie, I don't like being called mother. I am your friend. Not your mother. Now tell me. Where were you all night?" she sighed.

"Well for your information, I was at the bar and I met your boyfriend's single best friend. And we hit it off quite well. So when he asks me out it wouldn't be a surprise to me," I smirked, even though nothing I just said made sense.

"Maggie. Watch out for Harry, he is a bit of the pushy type," Crystal whispered.

"Crystal I think your boyfriend is here," I say as Niall's car pulls up.

"NIALL!" she squealed, jumping down the stairs.

I got out of bed and walked sluggishly to my closet. I picked out a black tank top, a skull sweater, and some black skinny jeans. I picked up my towel and headed to the bathroom with all my clothes. I started the bath water and added some bubble bath. It smelt like strawberries. My favorite. I started my music. My Immortal by Evanescence came on.

When the tub was full enough I stepped in and sat down. The warm bath water felt amazing to my aching muscles. Working in condos for a week straight doesn't do go to the body.

"Your face it haunts, my once pleasant dreams. Your voice it chased away, all the sanity in me. These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just to real, there's just to much that time cannot erase. You cried, I wipe away all of your tears. You scream, I fight away all of your fears. I held your hand through all of these years. You still haunt me," I sung softly.

I sunk my body deeper and deeper into the water until I was completely under the water. My eyes were closed and the warm water just surrounded me. If anyone were to walk in they would've thought I was drowning.

"Magent- WHAT THE HELL??" Harry screamed. I popped up my head from in the tub.

"Haven't you heard of knocking?" I mumbled, making sure that the bubbles were covering my body.

"I-I am sorry Magenta. H-how long have you been underwater?" he stuttered.

"Twenty seconds. I wasn't drowning Harry. Do you really think I'm suicidal?" I laughed.

"No... I'm sorry Magenta...," he mumbled.

"Its okay Harry... now can ya get out so I can dry off and get dressed?" I giggled. His eyes opened like saucers and he blushed. He nodded and walked out, shutting the door.

I stood up and stretched. I stepped out of the tub and wrapped my giant fluffy towel around my soaked body. I blow dried my hair and put it up in a messy bun. I tugged on my skinny jeans and slipped on my tank top. The air was chilly so I slipped on my sweater.

"NIALL!" Crystal laughed. I just spun into my room. I jumped down the stairs and landed on my toes.
