Chapter Five

SOTC: Little Things by One Direction

*Crystal's POV*

Niall and I went out for breakfast at Deny's and had tons of pancakes. It was amazing. Niall seems to be a bit distant though. Imma ask him about it soon.

"Babe. What's got you all caught up in the moment?" I mumbled, grabbing his arm and forcing him to look me in the eyes.

"Crystal... I'm fine... I am just thinking. Just don't ask okay?" he replied.

"Really? Really? That's how you wanna talk to your girlfriend? Are you SERIOUS?!?!" I screamed.

"Babe...," he started. I pulled away and ran. I ran without looking where I was going. I was crying. I called Magenta.

"Magenta... Can you pick me up? I just ran from Niall crying and now I'm lost," I whispered.

"Crystal... what did he do?" she asked. I heard her fling open get car door.

"I... he... just come and get me," I said, sobbing.

"I'm on my way," she said, hanging up. I sat on the curb and sobbed silently to myself. Magenta pulled up.

We drove back to our house. I ran up to my room and laid on my bed. I checked my phone and I had 10 messages from Niall.

*Babe where'd you go?

*How bad did I mess up?

I felt so bad. I tried to call him but it went to voicemail.

"Niall... I'm sorry I ran off like that. I love you..." I whispered, hanging up.

I waited until 6pm for Niall. I heard knocking on my window. I opened my window and there he stood. I gasped and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him through the window. He picked me up and lead me to the lake not to far from my house. We both watched the sun set.

"He got down on his knee first, and he said," he sung, getting on his knee and pulling pout a ring. "I want you forever, forever and always. Through the good and the bad and the ugly. I'll always love you, forever and always."

I gasped. I looked down at him and covered my mouth with my hand, barely breathing. I just stood there.

"Niall... I... I... yes...," I whispered, tears starting to show down my face.

"You're my world baby. I love you do much," he replied, slipping the ring on my finger, standing up, and kissing me. He pulled out his guitar and started to sing Little Things.
