Roman followed the other two into the sub scape as he looked around curiously. It felt familiar, but looked completely different from when he had last been down here. He hadn't exactly expected it to be tidy, and yet the place looked immaculate. However, it also looked lived in. Not the kind of sterility where you feel free to move in case you accidentally nudge something out of place, more of a homely cleanliness that made you feel safe, almost as if nothing and no one could possibly harm you whilst you were there.
"Welcome to our commons! This is a bit like yours, but bigger as we have more people." Remus explained, gesturing around the room. "We call it our living room though. The TV is over there and there are the remotes." Remus said pointing. "There is the kitchen. As you can see, it's open plan so Mum or Ev or Janus whoever is cooking at the time can make sure we don't accidentally kill someone. Or so they say anyway. You can sit pretty much anywhere once you learn where everyone's tickle spot is. Or you fight them to the death but I think you would prefer the first option. Annnnddddddd that is about it for here at the moment. Follow me!"
Roman followed Remus as he went down a few corridors that seemed to branch off each other almost artistically, like the veins of a leaf. They left Janus in the living room (or the jokingly nicknamed dying room if there is a fight going on) The walls were covered in the most beautiful colours that swirled and danced like fresh paint on a blank canvas, the same shade never repeated once. There was one door at the end of what was, Roman presumed, the main corridor. They went through some smaller corridors until they got to a door that was the exact same green as the shade Remus wore.
"And here we are! I would say sorry for the mess but... actually, I don't really care. Welcome to my humble abode!" Remus exclaimed, throwing the door open.
The room was quite big, bigger than Roman expected at least, and didn't have body parts or blood or- anything disgusting strewn anywhere for which Roman was thankful. It was also lighter than he expected. There were books lining the walls, a TV on the wall opposite the bed and an en-suite was located to the right. There was the odd book or piece of clothing on the floor or draped somewhere but Roman didn't really care. After all, his room looked way worse when he hit a creative block. There was a desk with lots of crumpled pieces of paper on it and a massive note book. All in all, it was not what anyone would really expect of Remus at first glance, but if you got to know him a bit better then maybe it wouldn't be as surprising. A bit like him.
"This is a really cool room Remus." Roman said, slightly in awe as he studied the room a bit longer.
"Really? You think so?" A small smile dawned on Remus' face.
"Definitely."
"Then let's go and find Mum." Remus said. "You will probably want to have your own bed." And with that, Roman dropped his bag into the closest corner and followed Remus out of the room, gently closing the door behind him.

Janus sat in the living room waiting for the others to come back, smirking slightly. He had discretely tipped the bartender off to say there were no available rooms. He knew Remus would offer him hospitality and so, thus far, the plan was going swimmingly. After all, it was about time that they got on with each other. He waved as he saw Ev walk past.
"Oh! Hi Janus. How are you?"
They sat there talking for a bit, Janus filling in what had happened for them as they were quite an important trait.
"So basically, we left Thomas alone with Patton and V without any buffer. Shit. I see why you told me now. Whelp, time to try and dilute all of their mistakes and propaganda."
Janus laughed. "Good luck with that. You would have to backtrack 15\16 years to get rid of all of Patton's manipulations. And that is only the major ones. There was plenty of it going on even before then."
