James's POV
I was on the couch watching tv when Eliza came and sat beside me. I put my arm around her and continued watching the show. She makes me happy, she does, but I want my sister back to be complete. Eliza started whispering in my ear about going up to the bedroom to do some stuff. "Eliza, I don't want to. I'm sorry." I said. She huffed and went up to the room. She's been acting like this for a couple days now, I don't know what her problem is.
I see Ethan come down the stairs. Hair knotted and messed up. I can already tell he had a rough night. Ethan would usually stay up late worrying about Mari, and missing her. Soon, all the other guys came down the stairs. We all found some food to eat and ate it at the table. And surprisingly, Ethan was the first one to leave, usually he's the last. "Ethan, where are you going?" I asked. It's not like he would leave to go somewhere, which means...
Ollie and Aaron got up and quickly chased after Ethan. That dumbass is going to look for Mari! God knows where she is! I rush out and I see Ethan in the yard with Ollie and Aaron on top of him. It's not like he could get anywhere, the twins did track and field in high school. I crouch down near Ethan's head. "Ethan, what were you thinking?" I asked him. "I was thinking I could get my sister back. You guys are doing NOTHING about it! So I have to. I need her back!" He exclaimed.
I sighed. This guy is really broken up about Mari leaving. I told the guys to get off of him and they went back inside while I stayed out with Ethan. "Ethan, I told you. Mari is a smart girl. She will come back when she's ready." I explained. Ethan scoffed and shook his head. "What if she's never ready? What if we will never see Mari again?" I smacked the backside of his head. "Don't ever say that! Mari is still alive! I know it.
But did I really? Was I trying to reassure Ethan? Or myself?
Hey guys! I'm so sorry for the short chapter but surprisingly I'm busy during quarantine. Homework is really dumb and long and I don't wanna do it but I have to so yea! I'm sorry guys. Byeeee
