3rd person's POV

April 15, xxxx, Friday

Tomorrow would be (F/N)'s boi's birthday. She already talked to the team about the surprise for him. She also prepared him a cake she baked herself, taking the advice (F2/N) gave her.

He likes whatever you make for him.

(F/N) stared at her phone in determination and excitement when she received a text from Korai that wants her to comeover with a sad face :(

She giggled at this and replied to him with a simple yes before she starts to pack up her stuffs. Korai, not wanting his girl to walk in the dark, he picked her up in her house. Actually, tackling her in a hug, warming himself by her warmth.

"Hey, what's with the containers?" He asked when he took (F/N)'s stuffs in his hands.

"Hm?" She blinked. It's the bag with cake inside along with her gift. "It's food. It's for (F2/N)'s m-mother.. She asked me to keep it since.. s-she can't in her home.." He stared at her, knowing she's not finished talking and he's still wondering why he brought it with her.

"I'll give it to her at practice tomorrow.." She panicked, feeling guilty about lying to him. She sighed once Korai bought it.

Once they got in his house, He told (F/N) to put the food inside their fridge before making his way up to his room. Since it's weekend tomorrow, Akitomo was inside the house as well. She accidentally bumped into him on her way to the kitchen.

He looked down at her, staring on what's in her hand which make him smirk. (F/N) sweat dropped once she saw that smirk and pleaded him to hide the cake out of Korai's sight. He just rolled his eyes and took the cake in her hands.

"Thank you!" She smiled and ran up the stairs to her boyfriend. Once she got there, She saw Korai laying down on his bed with his head on the edge, staring at her.

"Is there something on my face? And please, your head will hurt if you don't lay down properly." She scolded making him pout angrily.

"Scolding me while rummaging through my drawers, huh?" He deadpanned while (F/N) stuck her tongue out to him when she grabbed the shirt she picked from his drawers before making her way in his bathroom to change.

When she's done, Korai already has his eyes closed. (F/N) smiled at the sight as she put a blanket on him before turning the lights off. Slowly getting in the blanket with him. She wrapped her arms around him and snuggled on his chest. She soon felt him moved his arms on her as well, pulling her closer.

"You know I love you right..?" He breathe on her ear. She snuggled more on him as her reply. Soon enough, the two fall in a deep slumber..

When morning comes, She woke up before Korai. She decided to stay with him for a bit instead of standing up to cook breakfast. She moved her face close him and pecked his nose, cheeks, and forehead. She was shocked when a hand pushed her head to him, making them kiss. It seems Korai was awake the whole time.

"You keep on missing my lips.." He chuckled, slowly opening his eyes. (F/N) smiled wide, taking in the beauty of his big eyes and handsome baby face. ฅ'ω'ฅ

Korai leaned in once more for a kiss. Swiping his tongue on her bottom lip lightly. He pulled away soon as he realized what he just did, muttering an apology after. Wanting (F/N) to take everything slowly.

They stayed in bed for few more minutes before getting out to prepare themselves for weekend volleyball practice. They were shocked to see breakfast already cooked. It seems his brother already did it for them making them stare at him.

"Stop staring and get out of the house already." He grumbled and made his way out the room. (F/N) tilted her head in wonder why he's in hurry. Korai just mentioned that his brother's friends are coming over their house.

They ate the food Akitomo cooked which is unexpectedly tasty. While Korai cleans up the dishes, (F/N) took this chance to message the team if all of their preparations are ready which she got a 'yes' in a matter of time. She also messaged her friends who will pretend to get the cake from her.

(F2/N): Already outside his house!

"Oh, right. When would (F2/N) get the food? Did you put it in the fridge last night?" Korai asked, wiping his hands with a towel as he finished washing the dishes. She nodded her head and made her way to get the cake from the fridge.

"She's actually near here so I'll be back for a sec!" She informed slipping on her shoes to go.

"Want me to join you?" He asked picking up their bags for practice. "A-Ah, no. It's fine." She gave him a smile and a peck on his cheek before going out.

'Does (F/N) know it's my birthday today? Or is she pretending she doesn't know? She's not even greeting me..' Korai pouts as he waited for (F/N) in the living room.

When she got back, He noticed a paper bag in her hands. He didn't question her, thinking that it's a gift from her friend. (F/N) picked her bag up and finally made their way to school.

"You can wait me in the gym right? It seems that they've started the practice already." Korai pointed out when they neared the gym. Although the doors are closed, the lights are on and there are squeaks of shoes from the floor.

(F/N) just nodded her head and gave him a smile. Not trusting her voice because she's so nervous at the moment. She watched him peck her cheek and ran to their club room to change. She waited for a second before running to the gym.

"Nice acting there. He's already in the club room. Sachiro-kun, please watch for any signs of him." (F/N) instructed to Hirugami which he nodded in response. After few minutes of preparation, He signalled that he's near.
The team readied the letters while her friends lit up the cake's candle. (F/N) gripped the party popper.

When the doors opened, Hirugami turned the lights on at the same time while they pulled on the party poppers.

"Happy Birthday Hoshiumi/Korai/-kun!" They yelled while smiling and cheering. They saw him flinch and is now trying to hide his smile as he blush.

"W-Wha-" He stuttered while he covers his face. "T-Thank you.." He muttered as they laugh at his red face.

"Such a tsun." Hirugami rolled his eyes while pushing him to (F/N), who's hiding behind her friends. He signalled to (F1/N), and pushed the two in the middle.

"It's your girlfriend you need to thank, She planned this all out for you."

(F/N) bit her lip as she blush, slowly pushing a nicely wrapped gift in a box from the paper bag she was holding earlier.

"I-I don't really know what to give you b-but I hope you'll like it.." She leaned in to his face and pecked his lips. He blushed as well.

"Thank you..Can I open it?" He asked for her permission which she nodded. He unwrapped it slowly as he doesn't want to ruin the wrapper. His eyes sparkled. It's a new blue shoes and a black knee pad.

He doesn't say anything but he pulled (F/N) into a hug who's hiding behind her friends again.

"Thank you so much...I love it.." He mumbled in her ear which he got a hug back in response.

"Where are you gonna treat us birthday boy?"

"Shh, let them have a moment!"

'I love this gift.. but the best gift was being with you everyday (F/N)..' He smiled and nuzzled his head to her shoulders.
