You were walking through London with your friends when there is a loud scream from behind you. Turning quickly, you saw a stampede of girls chasing after some boy. You recognised him from somewhere but you weren’t sure where, until you looked at the girls a little closer. You recognised a couple of them from school, knowing them only because they were Directioners like you.

That was when everything clicked. It was one of the boys. You couldn’t believe it! One of the boys was running towards you, along your street, trying to get away from some very obsessed and LOUD fans.

Before you could think about what you were doing, you threw your bags to your friend, aswell as your house key.

“Go to my house and stay by the back door. When I knock three times saying your middle name, open the door.” Your friend just looked more and more confused as you unravelled the plan to her.

“Ok, but what are you doing and where are you going?” She took everything in one hand, before walking off in the direction of your house.

“I’m going to save him.” She turned her head to where you were pointing, smiled and continued walking towards your house which was at the end of the road.

Liam’s POV

I had been walking along through London, when some fans had noticed me outside a small coffee shop. I really shouldn’t have sat outside, but it was such a lovely day and the interior wasn’t very inspiring or inviting.

Regretting the decision to not have security with me, the only thing I could do was make a break for it, but as I ran, more people followed and soon there was a stampede of girls running after me, screaming and drawing more attention to me.

I just kept running, and turning frantically, trying to lose some of them so that I could stop and figure out a game plan. Eventually, I became more and more lost, heading into the out skirts and smaller streets of London, when a girl, who could have been maybe a year or two younger than me, ran alongside me.

“Liam.” Had one of the fans caught up with me? I thought I’d left them behind by at least two metres. “Listen to me. I’m going to help you. You can trust me.” She gave the most sincere smile, and I honestly thought she was my guardian angel at that moment. Normally, I don’t trust people so quickly, but she seemed like a nice person (and I needed the help) so I followed her lead.

We ran for what seemed like forever, winding backwards and forwards between houses and gardens, before jumping over a low fence and hiding behind a hedge. Eventually, we heard the group of girls walk past, confused and exhausted after the 30 minute run they had been on. I caught my breath, trying to be quiet, before I finally spoke to her.

“Ummm, aren’t we trespassing?” I looked worriedly at her, only to be met with a smile.

“No, this is my house. My friend is inside waiting for us to go in. You ready?”

“Are you sure? I feel bad for dragging you into this.” I really did feel bad for her. I hated being chased by the obsessed fans, but I had been able to deal with it over the past three years. This was her first time and hopefully her last.

Your POV

He was so caring and thoughtful. You couldn’t believe he blamed himself for you being a part of this.

“If anything, I threw myself into this. You looked pretty terrified, and I know some of them. Trust me: you wouldn’t have ever lost them. They would stalk you back to your house and stay there until they got whatever they were stalking you for. I don’t blame you for running. I would have!” You couldn’t help but giggle at yourself, and Liam’s adorable chuckle that really was infectious. You know you may say you’re a Directioner, but some of them are just a little too obsessed for their own good.
