It was warm outside, I went for a walk that day but something was off the air seemed strange it seemed too damp. Or maybe too quiet..I let my (h/c) hair flow in the wind as I make my way down to the train station. Crowds of people everywhere.. they all seem like their watching me. I casually wait for the train with my ear buds in as I see an old crotchety man drunkenly make his way towards me.
"Hey hey heyyyy sexyyy hows about you come home with me and I'll show you the infernal down below" he said sloppily falling all over me.
"Listen buddy, get on your train and go home I'm sure your wife and children are waiting for you" I reply coldly.
"What did you say bitch ?! I said get on your knees and give me-"
My eyes turned black and I felt the power surging through my veins, storm clouds formed in the sky and lightning appeared on the tips of my fingers. I played with the ball of electricity as I watched the man back away like a scaredy cat on his knees begging me for forgiveness. The air around me grew black as my eyes glowed a bright shade of green . And he ran away crying.
"Tch....that's what the fuck I thought" I muttered to myself.
I look around to see the entire train station had cleared.
"Ughhh why is everyone so scared of me!" I shout.
"Well (y/n) maybe it's because you were about to electrocute this guys balls off! Oh really (y/n)??? I didn't know that ! Oh my god what am I doing?! Why am I talking to myself!" I scream
Forget it I thought I'll just walk. I make my way back out to the city streets where I know people are starring at me. Not to sound cocky but I'm pretty good looking like insanely good looking....Also I don't look like everyone else around here...So that maybe another reason for stares..I've always had powers though since I was 5 years old I knew, I knew I was destined to do something great.
Other than zapping pervert penis anyways. My parents left me at a orphanage when I was little maybe they thought I was a monster too...All of a sudden there's a loud crash! I see an infernal running into the streets screaming and laughing like a mad man. There's a woman across the street with her children ! He's making his way over there ! Someone's gotta help I guess that's where I come in.
"STOP!" I scream so loud and so clear that the infernal turns my ways.
"Why dontcha pick on someone your own size !"
The infernal immediately came charging at me, right when he got up towards me I jumped and dodged his attack. He began punching, kicking and screaming with all his force against me. I channel my powers I make a prayer tent with my hands around my heart. And begin praying for him because I know this will put him down.
"And return you back to the great flame !" I Finish the prayer as there is only ash left of him. He is turned to dust in seconds.I always hated that I have powers to kill infernals, being able to take someone's life away in a flash. I look down at the pile of ashes at my feet.
I bend down kiss my fingers and touch the ashes.
"Forgive me but be at peace, la'tom" I say.
All of a sudden loud clapping can be heard from all around me. I guess I hadn't noticed what a scene I had made or the crowd it attracted.
Simultaneously these people in fire fighter suits came and approached me. Did I break the law ?? I know this maybe someone's jurisdiction but ...fuck, I broke the law didn't I !
"Those powers were unlike anything I've ever seen before" a woman with Carmel skin and pink eyes says to me.
"Uh thanks I guess" I say rubbing my neck and sweat dropping.
"You should join Company 5 of the Fire Force we will make you a hero" she stated boldly taking my arm.
Just then a man interrupted her.
"Hi there I'm not sure what the 'princess' said but we'll take it from here.", said a man with muscles and a slightly buzz with soulful eyes.
"Hi there my names Captain Obi leader of Company 8 Fire Force and I -" he started
"Listen I'm just passing through I'm not looking to join anything I'm flattered really but my powers aren't good for anything except zapping penises....." I trail off
"Huh?!" They both say.
"Nothing ! But like I said I should be -"
Just then a large man with a eye patch on jump landed in front of me. Like some asshole superhero.
"Hello there I'm Leonard Burns Captain of Company 1 we only train the highly elite and want you on our team powers like yours must be put to good use " he said with a shit eating grin and a slight bow.
The rest of the group seemed shocked by his behavior.
"Again you guys I'm super flattered but I can't join-"
I say backing away slowly.
"Listen with a power like yours people are gonna come looking for you bad people. It's better that you have the good ones on your back now before the bad ones come looking"
"Look I really don't think-" I start to say as I am halfway to the other side of the street.
Then I heard another voice interrupt me.
"Do you wanna help people or just sit on your ass and watch them burn ?!" He shouts
Obviously I wanna help! I just did ! Is this guy for real?!
"Why the hell should I join your Girl Scouts club anyways!?!" I yell back getting annoyed.
"Because we help people in need! If you walk away your nothing more than a coward !" The boy with red eyes and sharp teeth yells.
"Hey Shinra maybe don't scream at people we're trying to recruit you dumbass!"Obi says scolding at him.
Maybe he's right maybe I should help maybe I can make a difference... Am I doing this... ugh... no no ..yes I am....shit commitment....fine fine fine !
"Ok how bout this I will join Fire Force for one week and if I don't like it I'm out! And then you all can will leave me the hell alone!" I say cockily with a grin.
"Agreed on your terms now come we have much to do" says Leonard dragging me away.
"Woah woah woah I said I'd join the Force I never said which company "I say cockily.
His face twisted into a crooked smile. "Fine then choose but I can assure you Company 1-"
"I chose 8" I say boldly.
"8?!" He says shocked.
"Yeah that creepy guy was the only one who didn't kiss my ass! So I'll join them."
"Hey I'm no creep !" I heard him yell.
"Shut up!"Obi screamed
I slowly make my way over to the group of them. Not caring and ready to get this week over with so the Fire fucks would leave me alone.
"You made the right choice!" Said Obi.
"Hi I'm Shinra ! Nice to meet you can't wait to see what else you can do "
Then that's when I saw him he was a tall building and I the hotdog stand outside. He had brown locs that looked soft to the touch and he was lean yet muscular. His glasses sat gracefully on his face that paved the road to those chocolate orbs. They all said their names but all I saw was him.
"Hello I'm Takehisa Hinawa I am second in command hope you don't mind taking orders from me for a while" he smiled gently.
Oh you can order me around anytime I thought to my perverted self.
"Well I'm (first name), formally known as (full name )" I smile
Hinawas POV
We were all sitting doing our own thing. Personally I had paperwork to be done. Then our heat signature machine went off like crazy! We hadn't seen a hit like that since a few years back ! We all ran to get our gear and rush downtown. To our surprise when we got there all the Company's were there including Company 1. They don't just show up for infernals.
Especially not the ones outside their jurisdiction.
That's when I saw her...her (skin color ) skin gleaming in the sunlight.. her hair dancing on her face...her lips plump to perfection... I've never seen anyone like her before.. and that power !
All I want to know is her name I crave it. My dove let me know your secrets lend me your heart. I will free you from your cage so you can sing.
I shook her hand and it was soft. So soft not the kind of soft that happened over night but the kind of soft that meant she's always been smooth as butter.
"Well I'm (first name), formally known as (full name )" she smiles.
I've never looked at anyone this way or felt this way... what's wrong with me is it obsession maybe it's love ...maybe it's the egg salad sandwich I had for lunch. Either way ...(y/n) welcome to Company 8!
