3RD PERSON POV
She sat furiously typing, completely focused on her work, then she heard a knock at the door soft yet firm.
YOUR POV
*knock knock*
"I know its you Hinawa, please just leave me alone."
The door opens slowly to reveal a sweat dropping Vulcan in his pajamas.
"No it's just me....." he said nervously laughing.
I know, I didn't want to see Hinawa....but the fact that it wasn't him was disappointing.
"You uh planning on going to bed soon?" He asked looking concerned, it was after all around one in the morning.
"Yeah soon just finishing up some stuff for tomorrow....." I trailed off.
"Big day huh?" He questioned me fishing for an answer. Tomorrow was the end of my week with the firefucks. Tomorrow I decide whether to stay or leave....They're hosting a big party at Company One, to celebrate making a new Ally with me regardless of if I join or not...But I can't believe I'm torn....Why am I torn??? Why do I kind of want to stay?.....
Finally I broke out of my daze,
"Yeah huge day....but I'll get to bed soon thank you for checking in Vulcan I really appreciate it" I smile.
"Goodnight (Y/N)" he says as he leaves.
"Goodnight, Vulcan" I say focusing back to my work trying to get it done....
"Oh and (Y/N).....Just know whatever you choose...we will be there... All of us ." He trails off before leaving and shutting the door softly. I sigh and get back to work. About an hour later I am finally finished. The air was cool in the building, nothing was stirring except me...it was almost peaceful to be the only one awake...I open the door to the hallway to bump into a large chest standing right in my path.
I look up to see Hinawa without his glasses in nothing but a pair of boxers....And I'd be lying if I said he didn't look sexy beyond imagination..
"So your gonna kiss me ....walk away ...now stalking ?!" I ask sarcastically.
He doesn't respond instead just continues to look down almost in shame.
"Now if you'll Excuse me, I'm going to bed Hinawa...." I say moving past him . In one quick movement he grabs my wrist and looks at me intently.....
"Please..." he said low and emotionless..
"Hinawa....I-"
"Please kiss me again and if you don't feel anything I won't bother you anymore ....."
There was a pause for a moment our eyes melting in to each other's....
"Hinawa.....I....I can't....now please let me go to bed..." I say lowly.I could see the pain in his eyes but I knew I couldn't kiss him, because if I did I would get hurt again...
He let go of my wrist in an instant and stood and watched as I retreated into my room...his room was only a few doors down..so you could imagine the awkward walk of shame we both took going back to our separate rooms...
I got my pajamas on and grabbed a manga before falling asleep after the first page....
——Next Day——-
Well today was the day the big day. I woke up this morning to everyone in the kitchen making breakfast...well almost everyone. We all ate and laughed and talked about how excited we were for tonight because either way it was a party...
"Again guys this may be a party but it is still a Company One official event so that means we ALL have to dress up" Obi states looking right at Shinra.
"Come on dude! I totally know how to dress up! Especially for the ladies..."he said wiggling his eyebrows at me and Iris.
"That's why at the last event you weren't wearing any shoes ???" Obi asked ironically.
"That was so a one time thing!" Shinra yelled.
And not before long Arthur,Shinra and Obi were all arguing like children. It made me laugh, even though it's annoying I think I'm actually going to miss them.
That's when Hinawa came in the dining room and groggily walked past us. Not saying anything and not seeming like he cared. He had on a t shirt and shorts....but again no glasses....I could feel my face heating up. Thinking about how he looked last night and how I wanted him so bad but I knew I couldn't and shouldn't....
He made himself a glass of water before quietly drinking the entire thing in literally ten seconds...then groggily walked past us heading back to his room.
"You alright lieutenant?" Obi asked cheerfully. I know he could feel all the eyes in the room on him.
"Yes captain" he responded deeply.I had never heard his voice so deep it sent shivers down my spine.
I can't stop thinking about him coming to the office last night in nothing but boxers.....how he held my wrist with such want.... does he really feel that deeply about me ?
No! Because if he did he wouldn't have run away..... besides I don't have time to fall in love......Love?! Did I actually say LOVE??!
Just then Shinra broke me out of my gaze.
"I can't wait to see how you girls dress up tonight for the big party" he says smiling ear to ear.
"Oh yes, if my calculations are correct you girls will be the cutest there....especially you flower....." Licht says in a seductive way towards me.
I see Hinawa flinch at his words and clench his fists as he staggered his way down the hall.
——Time skip to right before the party——
3rd POV
(Y/N) had finished getting ready, she looked incredible. Wearing a tight (Favorite color) colored dress with black fish nets and heels. She looked good enough to eat and believe me when I say everyone wanted a taste ;).
She was finishing up her makeup when a light knock came to the door.

"Hey (Y/N) time to gooooooo" all the girls sang in a sing song voice.
I chuckled to myself. I really am going to miss this place... If I leave....Is it crazy I haven't made up my mind yet ??? Fuck my indecisiveness !!!
"Coming!!!"
I walk outside to see them all dressed up head to toe and looking totally adorable !
"You girls look so cute !" I says laughing, they all gather about and begin showering me with compliments.
"Oh my gosh ! You look soooo good !!" Says Maki smiling.
