They made it to a different part of the factory where machines were running. But then a laser aimed at Sora.

"Look out!" Jamie yelled, pushing Sora out of the way.

It lightly grazed her leg, making her yelp in pain. She landed on top of Sora in the process.

"Hey, what's with the machines? They've gone totally bonkers!" Mike said then told Sulley and Y/N, "There's no way we can get Boo through here safely."

Boo went to Y/N, who picked her up.

"This must be what Randall and G/E/N meant by improvements," Sulley remarked.

"Bad ones!" Donald said.

"Nothing we can't handle!" Sora declared as Jamie helped him up.

"Sulley, maybe you, Y/N, and Mike should take Boo someplace that's safe," Goofy suggested.

"Right," Sulley nodded.

Once they left, Sora put a hand on Jamie's shoulder, getting her attention.

"Thanks, Jamie, for saving me back there," Sora thanked.

"You're welcome, Sora," Jamie nodded.

He removed his hand from it then looked down at her leg to see her wound.

"Oh, Jamie," he said.

"It's nothing. I promise," she assured.

He nodded, unconvinced, but let it be as they readied themselves to turn off the machines.

They passed by safely and turned them off. They caught up with Mike, Y/N, and Sulley and kept going until they made it to where the main controls and elevator were. They looked up to see the light was off.

"Great! The power's out again," Sora said.

"Okay! We know what to do. Hmm, gotta find..." Mike said then noticed something.

There was a huge painting booth off to the side.

"Bingo!" Mike said.

This confused the others.

"Uh, Mike? How's that supposed to help?" Sulley asked.

"Yeah. I'm real curious about it too," Y/N stated.

Mike laughed then brought them over. He whispered the plan, making them smile and nod in approval.

"Heh. That's good!" Sulley said.

"I like it!" Y/N smirked.

"Yep, take it away, you two!" Mike instructed, started to walk away.

"Nice try, Mikey. We're not doing this alone," Sulley said, taking Mike by the head.

"Yeah. It was your idea after all," Y/N pointed out.

"Hey! You guys, not me. C'mon. Sulley!" Mike objected.

Then the door opened and Sulley entered as Mike struggled to get out of his grip.

"No. Stop! Sul-ley! Y-/N! Not what I had in mind!" Mike yelled then the doors shut.

While they waited, Sora felt ace bandage in his pocket. He then turned to Jamie.

"Hey, J. Let me wrap up your leg," he told her.

"It's fine, but knowing you're persistent, I won't object," she said, sitting down.

He wrapped up the injured part then helped her up.

"Thanks," she said.

"You're welcome," he responded.

The machine then beeped and out came blue and pink Mike, Sulley, and Y/N. Mike was grumpy while the couple was smiling away. Everyone laughed at the sight then the elevator came on.

"It's on! Nice work, guys!" Sora told them.

They boarded it and went to the floor they needed to go to. But then Boo ran off.

"Boo!" Sulley and Y/N yelled.

"Come back! You can't run off, kid!" Mike said as the three of them ran after her.

The others followed them into Section F2 where Boo was giggling away.

"Birdie! Kitty!" she exclaimed, smiling.

"Oh there you are," Sulley sighed in relief.

But then the water pipes burst and washed the paint off the three monsters.

"That paint was kinda growing on me," Sulley smiled.

"Same. Although, it didn't help with the clothes," Y/N said.

"Woo! This is way better," Mike replied.

Sulley then shook himself dry, making Mike try to block it with his arm.

"Ahh! Hey no. Would you cut that out?" Mike groaned.

Sulley and Y/N laughed at that.

"Birdie! Kitty!" Boo exclaimed.

That's when the Unversed showed up again.

"Boo, come here," Sulley said and Boo obeyed.

"Sulley, Y/N, let's get her outta here," Mike instructed.

The others summoned their weapons and prepared to fight.

"The Heartless are here too?" Sora asked.

"I guess so," Jamie shrugged and they fought them off.

A/N That paint scene was pretty funny to me. 😁
