you wasn't never meant to be scared
You walked timidly up the stairs
Your life as you knew it was a mess
You couldn't fix the ugly mistakes
The world around you had opened doors
You threw yourself not caring for its flaws
The steps you took let yourself know of life
Yet never once did you feel alive
Like a caged animal you never fled
Too scared of what they had said
Letting them know they had won
The battle inside yourself, you was done
You took deep breaths then let it slit
Not once did you feel any sorrow
While the knife took you from tomorrow
Never did you realise the people around
The ones who were so proud
To see you blossom with pride
But never once did they see the inside
Could this be the fateful end
To take ones life and be dead
The soul inside took the devils side
And tormented you for a crime
Now your family cry at the grave
The one made for you to lay
Peaceful was never your word
But now you settle never understood.
