Dark days ( Daryl&beth love story)

Chapter 1

As I watched my father being killed by the governor with a sword slicing he's head off. I watched in horror as my sister Maggie and I broke out in sobs it was like someone ripped my heart out. Having the guns in our hands that Daryl had passed out to all of us in our group minutes before it happened. We all began shooting at the governor and his people that he brought with him. Shooting with anger tears streaming down my cheeks the tank moved in causing the fences to go down.

"Beth get the kids in the bus!" Said Maggie "I'll back you up" she said as the people kept shooting at us. When I was on the clear I ran inside the prison still the AK- 47 in my hands.

"Everybody out! To the bus We have to go!" I quickly said running out of breath still heart broken except right now wasn't the time to morn.

"What's going on? An elderly women said "Were under attack....the governor" quickly they knew who he was.

Running off to make sure every kid was escorted out, running my way to Ricks cell block to go get Judith I noticed she was gone. Maybe Carl took her or some of the other kids had gotten her to the bus.
Making my way back outside still hearing gun shots bullets flying everywhere walkers were now inside. I shot three of them making my way to the bus as I saw Maggie helping others get inside, Signing in relief knowing she was ok.

"Beth! Have you seen Glen?!" She looked worried and scared I couldn't blame her we were all broken at the moment fighting for our loves one including our home.

"No I haven't I thought he made he's way to the bus!" Guilt was feeling me inside I should have checked except I figured he may have been out. Maggie quickly pushed me inside the bus.

"I'll be back stay here! I'm gonna get Glen" I don't want her to go alone she was my only sister left. Everybody else was gone "Maggie you can't go alone I'm coming with you!" Maggie turned around "No you stay here with the kids remmber we all have a job to do" I nodded my head fighting back tears as she left running while shooting walkers on her way.
After seeing her go inside I left running toward the door until I saw a guy with a gun pointing at me I aimed my gun shot him in the head. This was my first human kill I couldn't believe what I have done. Except I knew that was my job If we were gonna make it out alive.

Inside the prison it was mainly empty supplies,clothing,food just scattered everywhere. "Glen! Maggie" I screamed from the top of my lungs hoping to find them. I went to their cell block nothing completely empty only their belongs.

I felt a hand grab me from behind turning around to see a walker, trying to take a bite of my neck I pulled my knife out of my pocket. stabbing him in the head causing the blood to splatter on my yellow shirt. "Shit close one" I made my way outside knowing I couldn't stay here longer maybe Maggie was waiting for me with Glen in the bus.

Once again Running fast towards the bus I noticed they were gone my heart started pounding faster. Knowing I was alone I went towards the front of the prison everything was now quite all you heard were walkers. Smoke was coming out from the prison and the guard tower our home was a complete lost. Looking around to see if I could find anyone rick,Sasha,Daryl or anyone from our group.

I heard a voice begging for he's live quickly following were the voices were coming from. Seeing Daryl shoot the guy that was inside the tank with he's crossbow. I felt relief knowing someone was still here seeing the guy fall down from the ground Daryl grabed he's arrow from the dead body. He looked broken "Daryl" I screamed making my way toward him fighting back tears.

"We got to go beth" he said almost chocking with a sob as he put he's arm over my back. I nodded trying not to say a word as we left running towards the woods, with a few walkers behind us everything was taken away from us.
