Pandemonium Caliban POV

She had finally fallen asleep after crying in my arms for a few hours. I never meant to hurt her, it was as if I was watching myself from a distance being so cruel to her. Watching the pain cross her face I tried to make myself stop, but I couldn't. Looking at her now I could still see the traces of the tears that poured from her eyes. Brushing her hair from her face I felt myself being summoned, looking towards the door I took a deep breath has I turned back to her and placed a kiss to her head. She didn't move once I moved back, so i slowly removed my arms from around her to make sure she didn't wake . Making my way to the door I turned back to look at her once more then left closing the door behind me. Making my way to the throne room I was met with the three plague Kings; Asmodeus, Purson, and Beelzebub. They all looked at me once I made my way down to them.

"Caliban! What took you so long?", questioned Beelzebub. "I was dealing with something.", I replied trying not to give too much away. "Was it that little witch of yours? The one that's friends with the half breed?", asked Asmodeus. Turning my head towards him Beelzebub spoke up again, "What did you think we didn't know about you and her. You can hide anything from us Caliban. But that's not important at the moment. What is important is how could you let the Morningstar get the bowl. Especially since you left before her." I didn't know what to say so I just looked down and shrugged has Beelzebub made his way towards me. "What nothing to say? Come now my prince speak up! Or do we have to search through that head of yours so we can get the answers ourselves." Taking a step towards him, I let him see the anger brewing in my eyes at his threat. While starring him down I spoke saying, "No. Plus it doesn't matter for I will get the last item, Judith's pieces of silver." The kings all looked at each other then has Asmodeus spoke, "Do you even know where to find them?" "No, but I can find them. It won't be a problem, I'll get to them before the Morningstar.", I replied. "Or there is a simpler way," began Beelzebub has he looked to the other two kings.

Looking towards all of them I asked, "What do you mean?". "Do you not know our history, boy? How did Judith get his silver?", asked Asmodeus. Rolling my eyes I said, "By betraying the false god's son." "Yes, and what did he betray him with?", continued Asmodeus. Without having to think about it I said, "He betrayed him with a kiss. But what does that have to do with finding his pieces of silver?" "Ugh!", exclaimed Beelzebub has he moved about the room growing even more annoyed. "You young fool, don't you see. All you must do is betray someone with a kiss." Taking a step back I asked the question I already knew the answer to but for some reason I had foolishly hoped it would be different. "And who do you suggest I betray with a kiss?" With a laugh Asmodeus said, "Why your little witch plaything of course. After all we all saw how she reacted when you made your proposal to the Morningstar. She was crushed, which means we can now use that to our advantage especially since you've persuaded her to forgive you. Even though that wasn't part of the plan." "No!", I exclaimed loudly shocking both them and myself. "No? What do you mean no?", asked Asmodeus has he and the other kings moved towards me. Standing a little taller I replied, "Exactly what I said, no! She is not a part of this and I will not allow the three of you to make her a part of this."

They all laughed then has they began to walk in a circle around me. "You really think you're the one in control here, boy. Please it is us that control you not the other way another." Watching them I said, "Not anymore I'm not your puppet, and if I say Selene is not involved then she is not involved." Suddenly the three kings stopped moving and raised their hands and began to chant. Looking at all of them I was then hit with an unbearable pain in my head causing me to drop to my knees. Clutching my head I cried out in pain as the three kings began to search through my mind. "What is it about this girl that's so important to him I wonder." said one of the kings in my head. Suddenly I was taken back to the first time I saw Selene with Sabrina and her friends. It was as if I was watching from the sidelines as the memory played out before us. We watched has Selene moved towards me and complimented me on my sand castle that I was building on the Shores of Sorrow. I saw how even from the start there was a playfulness there between us, before she walked away and I disappeared, but what I didn't know was the fact that she looked back towards me has she followed her friends. Next we were in the Forest of Torment, where I watched myself track and follow Selene has she adventured off on her own. She then stopped and shouted out for who ever was watching her to come out, which of course I didn't. But I still watched her has she took out the tin man with a twist of her wrist. "Ugh this is all so boring. Where is the information we want?" questioned Beelzebub in my head, to which Asmodeus replied, "Patience, we just have to look for it. Ah I think I found something."
