"We lost f/n. We can't go to Nationals. Can we please meet? Please? Just today please. I'll stop after this."

You sighed as you read the message in your phone. It was currently 9pm and you were drowning in schoolwork as the end of the school year was approaching.

These past few months, you have been avoiding Oikawa. It was hard, yes. But you were able to do it. And even he was able to do it. He respected the fact that you didn't want to be near him and even though it hurt, he stayed away from you. But today was the limit. He couldn't handle it anymore. He lost to Kageyama. He lost to Karasuno. Other than Iwaizumi, you were the only one who understood his wrath and his painful thoughts about these. He never felt enough.

You stood up as you put shoes on and went out of your house quietly. You walked to the meeting place and saw Oikawa lying on the bench with head on his arm and him looking at the stars. You sat beside him and just sighed.

"Thank you for coming. I just need you right now. You don't have to say anything. I just need to know that you're here and that you're okay." He says. You both sit in silence as he finally sits up. You couldn't do anything but play with your fingers when suddenly, he wraps his arms around you.

"Come back to me, f/n. I can't do this without you." He says as you removed his arms from you.

"I appreciate everything you have done for me and I will be forever grateful for you but I think this is for the best."

"Stop lying. I know you need me. We need each other. I know that." He says as he tries to go near you again but you stood up.

"You're right. You always are. But sometimes there are things that are better not done and left unsaid." You say as you turn your back against him.

"Don't do this."

"He is you, Oikawa. I love you. I hope you have a great life ahead of you." You say as you walk away from him. He sat there frozen and his feet couldn't move. It was obvious and he knew it in his heart but he always denied it. And now that you said it, all he could do was sit there frozen and cry.

"Am I not enough?"
