You may think you are alone…but I can see you.
You can’t see me of course. You are much too human for that. You might be looking at me now – or now! You are probably looking right through me. Now, now, don’t be frightened. I’m not here to scare you. I’m here to inform you of evils you never knew existed. But, I warn you, this tale is not for the faint hearted. Your quest, if you choose to accept it, will take you on a journey that may be haunting. Yes? You choose to go on? Very well then.
Take a few deep breaths. That’s it. In…Out. Now – close your eyes and imagine Oliver Tulane’s world. Imagine a boy, of about 17 years of age - not old enough to be a man, nor young enough to be a boy. Imagine his house – large, modern, with impersonal, clean, black furniture and whitewashed walls. Imagine yourself in this house, watching the small boy sleep. Now, turn the page and watch your imagining become reality.
