em and i sit son the couch and catch up on things since i haven't seen her since high school . as we started to talk , mattia sits on the couch across from us followed by jenna sitting on his lap . em notices me and tries to get my attention . " huh ? oh . " i look back at em . she looks behind her to mattia and jenna and looks back smirking . " you like him . " she whispers . "wait what ! no . " i deny . she gives me a " uh huh " look as i slap her arm . " i'm with seb , remember ? " i assure her . " yeah , speaking of seb , where is he ? " " upstairs . " i confidently say . " are you sure about that ? " she says pointing to seb hugging another girl in the doorway . i stare at them in confusion , i look over at em and then at seb wondering who she is . mattias gaze travels from me to seb equally as confused . seb looks up from the hug and quickly lets go of her walking towards me . " uh , that's dev , my friend . " he stutters a bit . " uh huh .. " i quietly say looking back at dev . she plays with her hair as she waits for seb . " mind if i show her around ? " he asks me . " go ahead ! " i give him a fake smile . a smile appears on his face as mine quickly fades as he walks back to dev to show her around . i look back down at em and then to mattia who was staring right at me . he slowly motions me to go to the bathroom and i nod while getting up . " i'm going to the bathroom . " i say to em as she nods . i head to the bathroom and walk in waiting for mattias arrival . a sudden knock is heard , assuming it's mattia , i open the door and let him in.
